I'm probably going to get the Wii, because thats the only one i can afford when it first comes out. lol.

--off topic though.

Why hasn't Apple made a game system(or have they..)? and if they did make one do you think it would be any better then the ps3, 360, or wii.?

Probably because they have made all the money they need off the ipod craze

Also, they probably don't want to bother, were already having debates between 3 consoles, if you add yet another one then people will just be sick of too many companys trying to compete to win the peoples money.

Well, we can add make believe go-karts to the the ever-surprising list of things that turn me on...

I've seen a few vids of Wii gameplay, and I must admit that they make me as giggly and smily as that girl. I still can't see myself buying one, but it's definately the next generation system that I most hope to discover at a friends house when I'm drinking.

SONY countered the propaganda with a press conference today announcing Gran Turismo PMITA edition with BOHICA transactions.
1up.com wrote:The microtransaction-focused game, Gran Turismo HD: Classic will be the online-focused entrant into the GT-series. In this game, players will (reportedly) start with no cars or courses available to them. Instead, they will need to purchase their stable of cars and courses to race on. The pricing reported in the Famitsu piece indicated that cars would cost between 50-100 yen ($0.43-$0.85) and courses between 200-500 yen ($1.71-$4.26). There are approximiately 750 cars and 50 tracks available for purchase in the GT: HD Classic. Let's do the math:

750 cars for $0.50-$1.00 (Sony will round-up, don't you think?)
50 tracks for $1.50-$4.50
A complete copy of the game will cost gamers somewhere between $426.50 and $975, and that's without factoring in whatever Sony decides to charge for the menus (since that's all you'll get with GT HD: Classic).
Sure. I'm going let Sony PMITA for $80 on a game. And then I get that game home, and there is nothing I can do with it, but read the manual, which consists solely of
Step 1) Proceed to step 2.
Step 2) BOHICA.

whatever, I like go karts. Vroom Vrooom .
