This is a prototype banner I made. The guy with the semi-fro is Torben Wigger, a european promoter of the sport in 1985. hence the takin it back to '85 text. It came out huge. I wont be here for a couple weeks, but it would be awesome if somebody could resize it.

here it is (huge)

Yeah... both of the last two are way too big (height-wise).

Chris, that is a sweeet concept

The pose and text are beautiful but the picture is so bad quality

If you got a similar pose with good quality that banner would be mint

hell, pose for it yourself

ummm the picture is taken from Penske.Special

The part of the video where he catches it like that, after his sick 3, the song goes "Do you believe...."

I dont think it would work with another photo

I know where the picture is from... I just think it's damned ugly as far as pictures go.

Yeah, I wasn't really trying to make it an official banner. For some reason I can't capture screenshots of wmps anymore. I actually took that pic with my digital camera of the screen and cropped it. But, I put it up anyway just cuz I thought it was a neat concept.

I think 'damn ugly' is a bit harsh lol. Really to me, it was remeniscent of a lot of the grainy, not very clear alien pics that were going around during the early 90s here in the states. A lot of em, it was kinda just shadows like that. And a lot of the propaganda was to the sorts of 'Believe' or 'Do you believe?', so the banner actually had a multi-layered concept. Even to the effect of Penske being an alien, or footbaggers being aliens, etc. That shot, for me, was definitely one of the most epic moments of that vid though.

HAHAHA that one that HDS put up is HIGHlarious! I'll try to resize it later.

Fair enough Chris. Digi cam shot of screen? hehehe.

I think screenshots don't capture videos that are playing on the screen. If you put the video into a video editor, make the preview window fullsize and take a screenshot then that will work.

Re banners:
-Mike is the only person on the board who has the ability to change that feature. We have to wait for him to come back from out of the country and back on Modified.
-Because I'm not Mike, I don't know the exact measurements that the banner sizes have to be within, but
do not make any banners any larger (wider or taller) than any current banners or they will not fit.
