I know my tricks weren't that good, but I was just wondering why I did so bad? Maybe it can help me to improve for the next comp I enter.

I'd assume because far osis is harder than osis, and because osis into stuff is harder, but that's just me.

Not trying to be mean or anything.

The only stuff I find hard out of osis is stepping stuff (which I can't even do) but that is on opinion

Yeah, but osis is much harder into things than osis from a butterfly.

its all about practice really if you think about it, if you practice stepping out of whirls more than you practice spinning out of harder moves chances are that the whirl option is going to be better, i think it boils down to who looked more controlled? but other than that i agree with Nic ;)

Hmm there are a few placings here I don't agree with (just my opinion though). I think Chris should have placed a lot higher, pixie out of ducking mirage is HARD. I also thought Danny's combo, while stylie as hell, was not on the same level as Asmus, Chirs, Aleski and Julien.

I went back and looked at my vid and I think the pixie was pretty thin, as well as the subsequent dive. It was a pretty hard combo, but I really don't think it was executed well enough. That's what these comps are good for though. Others noticing stuff you may have missed, and then cleaning up your game.

Yeah, that is pretty strange... I guess it was because the quality of the video was so bad that you couldent really see if the dexs were clean? I would have givin Ron the benifit of the doubt though!

No. Its not that hard.

This is both my opinion and an example of how stupid you sound trying to tell people what moves are hard and what moves arent. I cant even hit Food Processor but Fusion isnt that difficult. How do you tell me im somehow 'wrong'?

If you can not tell which of moves are harder how can you judge which combo is best? I see food processor all the time in runs. I see clean fusion very rarely. Is this because people just like food processor as a better trick or do they find it more easy to fusion?

I am sorry. My English is not good. I can not understand when people say things they don't mean.

no worries, yes we would expect to see Nuclear, Furious and Blazing sets out of osis in open category, but not in the novice category.

You can't tell which moves are precisely more difficult than others (is fusion more difficult than food processor? well that will depend on what concepts you find easy or difficult - ian finds double down moves easier then blender moves, this is not an empirical guage just a personal opinion based on personal experience, in cases where moves are quite close in difficulty this is all you have - I don't think either is "considerably" more difficult than the other, the difference is small. I think Ian would be able to hit food processor if he drilled blender as much as he drilled double downs). The key thing is that you cant give these small differences an accurate empirical value, BUT you will always have your opinion which will form the basis of your decision. With Sick 3 though this is spread over a number of elements. I think sick 3 judging is aided by the fact that you dont just have move creativity, difficulty and form to consider as in sick 1, but you also have link creativity, difficulty and form, as well as variety between moves. Personaly I think alot of weight needs to be placed on execution, link difficulty and creativity. I.e. if player 1 hits three easier moves than player 2 but player 1's links are both more difficult, all other things being equal I'd give it to player 1.
In the case of Phil and Anssi, I would have placed Phil above Anssi. Anssi may well have scored better on just move difficulty (at the very least you'd have to say to hit spanish fly that cleanly is very difficult), and the difference in form would have been marginal if there was any, both had good form. Anssi had marginally better variety than Phil. But both Phil's links are substantially more difficult, Anssi has no uptime dex after the first atomic. This is enough to push him just above Anssi over all in my mind.
