Socks...

Before I started playing footbag I prefered to where about mid-shin length socks as they just felt more comfortable and kept my legs warmer in the winter. But since I've started playing I haven't had any ankle socks or anything of about that size so I haven't been shredding in socks at all. The long socks get my legs too hot so I shred sockless now. Though I will pick up a lot of pairs of ankle socks when I get enough money.

I was just curious to see if anyone had a preference of sock length or material to play in.

My favorite socks are Adidas Climacool, and Airwalk socks. Ankle length... They are vastly superior to any sock i've ever tried, in every way (except price).

When I play sockless, my shoes and feet get too....boggy. And frankly it makes my shoes smell bad from the direct foot sweat. I'm gonna check out these socks. I need ankle socks. Thanks for your guys' input.

I play in Nike Cushioned Runner Socks. I sometimes wear the lightweight version if it's too hot out, but their the preferred socks I wear, anywhere.

I never wear long socks or mid-ankle socks anymore.

i prefer playing in socks... after like 20 minutes.. my feet get really sweaty then slip in the shoes.. i get horrible grip.

athletic style socks are what i use... they have the arc support and they ventilate well. they come ind ifferent ankle lengths but most of them dont reach your shins. i like the kind that go below the ankle because i dont feel too restrained.

id like to try the climacool socks but i havent justified kpaying money for them yet.

I really like Climalite socks, but I could never find them in size 9-11. I always find them in 10-13.

I like thin socks, that are never washed so they form to the feet and get crispy.

They discontinued my favorite socks years ago.

i use normal sports socks which are reason ably thick so they give a slight bit more shock absorbstion. ive been meaning to get some 1000 mile ancle socks for a while now but they are Â£10+

socks rule lols!

I don't have a favorite brand. Generally any cheap socks that are ankle height or below that is fine.
