Where can I get crushed panne for 4 panels?

Post by shredzilla »

Does anyone know where to buy/order crushed panne to make 4 paneled footbags? (Previous post below)

Hey does anyone know if there's a 4 panel tutorial out there? I want to start making them. Pattern and place to buy that crushed panne stuff would help too. Thanks.

Lol, okay nevermind there's a complete vid tutorial on www.footbagsewing.com There was a topic on this back in May, but it didn't come up in search.

Mods feel free to delete or let fall down the ladder, but maybe a link to www.footbagsewing.com, and this link, which is the panel template: http://ben.unhq.com/hack/patern/mr-sand ... s2.JPG.jpg could be put in the Stitching Sticky unless I've missed that too haha.

Yawn....lol, btw that tutorial on footbagsewing is 2 hours long!!@!@!! Haha, I had to click to different parts just to get essential info, but man it doesn't take 2 hours to make a 4 panel. I guess it was somewhat helpful though.

Really? How much is it and does it literally say 'Crushed Panne' on the tag? Cuz I saw some stuff like Shimmer Panne and Stretch Velvet that seemed similar, but not quite it.

Chris,
Isn't the market for 4-panel crushed panne bags pretty well saturated? I hear Daryl sometimes makes over 100 a day. Are you going to use a different fill or something? Just curious, wouldn't want to see you re-invent the wheel.

Crushed Panne can be found at 'Joanns' Fabrics. It costs about $4/yard.

Yeah I've been to Joann's before but I was looking for ultrasuede light lol. They didn't have it. I figured my store that HAS ultrasuede light would have the crushed panne as well, but apparently not. Kinda strange.

That sucks. I currently have a 4 panel micro bag, that's over 1 year old, and is doing great! Haven't even had to refill the sand... 8)
