These shoes are fun to play in because they are so light, but they are pretty expensive. The insides kind of curve down too. I use mine for walking but I play in them sometimes too.

Whoah I didn't know this thread existed.

I bought a pair of these a few months ago. They are normally $85 but I found them on sale for $50. I can't bear to pay more than $50 for a pair of shoes. Thoughts:

Lightweight! Holy shit, they ARE like being barefoot

Clipper Surface = BOMBASTIC!!!

(sorry 1995 but I needed to borrow that word)

Toe Surface = blech

I really think they set well from toe but with no toe wall or big flat surface makes tough to hit string of toe moves. The clipper surface is awesome though. I can hit infinities and osis in those things way better than I can in lavers. If you are a primarily clipper player you will love these.

Andrew Koller from Austin (now lives in San Marcos) shreds in them. You can see him shredding in them in this video:

He manages to do fine with the toe surface, I'm not sure how. He can hit pixie DLO and pixie eggbeater in them fairly often. The shoes are also apparently pretty good for flappers, as he hits pixie flapper in that vid.

All in all I'd say these are good but not great. I still prefer my lavers.

That's crazy. I JUST got home from the shoe store like half an hour ago and I tried these on while I was there. On the ones I tried (and all the others that I saw) the clipper surface looked a tad...shitty. The seemed like it could be siiiiick if I could somehow modify them a lil. I was in a bit of a rush so I couldn't stay and drool over them for too long, but they were AMAZINGLY comfortable and they would make a -B A D A S S- pair of street shoes. They super comfy, they are definately shreddable to a certain extent without moddification and I bet they pwn anything else for running... however, $130.00 seemed a lil steep for a pair of street shoes. Maybe someday in the future.

i could totally mod the shit off of those shoes and they'd be the sweetest mesh shoes ever... the toe mod, and cutt off the eyelet strips... its all mesh underneath! OMG!

Second Edit - Sue me..These are probably the nike free 7.0's not the 5's....

I bought these shoes not to long ago, perhaps a month because I was in need of good shoes...I guess I got the good toe, terrible clipper version,..

I think they are no where near being able to withstand a multiple good shred sessions, however since my shoe has such a good toe, it is nice to do some Toe-To-Toe tricks waiting for the train or what-not.

Oh yeah, that picture where the guy bends the sole does no justice. You can bend it ALL the way around....

I've got the black/silver v2's and they're some nice kicks. The toe is awesome, and the inside is no worse than an unmodded clima. If I felt like they could take a beating I would shred it them.

I put on regular shoes after a while of not wearing anything but free's, and if felt like I was walking on 2x4's.

i just got these at sports authority. I wasnt planning on it cause they were marked 80 something on the wall. i was there to get some soccer cleets, and i thought id try them on. and there on the box... 39.99 (heavenly choir sound)

their a lot better for footbag than i expected. i hit 2 datws in the first couple tries, which is a lot better than the last time i tried them in lavers. really lightweight. the insides are fine, i had no troubles.
you can feel the bag on your toes, theirs the thin mesh you see in the feel and the really soft suede. also a thin flexible thing at the tip of the toe, to keep the form.

their pretty good.

omg i read the above this morning, i went to sports authority, and bought the same shoe!!!

they were something like 42 bucks after tax, on clearance at 37.00

i tried em on in the store and broke out my latest bag (sable/white

see sig!) and shred in the aisle for like 5 minutes. didnt take longer than that i LOVE them and i was out the door.

these are really freaken awesome shoes. the color is pretty ugly i guess.. but they shred FANTASTICALLY and feel sooooooo nice on your foot. the support is great.

the shoe flexes super nicely, the toe is reall nice! they are broad and flat when you're foots in the shoe, contrary to what you might think. better even than clima toes IMO. the fabric is very soft too, i have no doubt the toe will only become better. also the clipper rails are EXCELLENT, and all in all im just really happy for my purchase. i think im going to try dunking the whole shoe in some blood red dye or something. who knows....

get them while they're on clearance!! they rock as shoes in general, super fantastic A++++++++++++++review

I checked out the SportsAuthority . com and didn't find any shoes on sale, other than a decent price on kids shoes, Henry *cough*, might wanna check'm out

Anyways, I'm so sold on these shoes that I want to get another pair and have one for everyday wear, and one to test out pure shred. I believe the one's I own have a pretty poor instep surface, a lot of roll off. If you hit it just the right spot, you're fine, but theportion wear I hit a lot of my clippers allows it to roll right off. I'm thinkin about goin to Lowes and finding some sort of Silicone to fill it in. But the shoes are so nice...I don't want to butcher them up too much. The toes are very nice. It makes any toe game much easier due to the light weight of the shoes. I had my first session 2 days ago and man it was hard going back to g-units. After I shred in the Frees, it felt like shredding with bricks on my feet with the G6's. My strings however were all very very short in comparison to the G6's. Like I said, my V2's have a slanted instep so it's expected I drop a lot more on those then the G6's. I believe once I get that fixed up... my feet will finally feel free. Quick movements without restriction... I'm going to hit TOTW today
