So I just figured it out. People stress me out/piss me off. I play footbag in one form or another to have fun and not be stressed out/pissed off. But to have fun I need to play with other people. But people stress me out/piss me off. So I play footbag to have fun and not be stressed. But I need to play with people. But people stress me out blah , blah, fuckin blah.

just buy some new shoes (UNITS) ... thats what girls do...

I usually blame myself if I'm stressed or pissed...its unhealthy to blame others for your own state of mind, whatever they do or same doesnt alter anything essential in you, its just your reaction/reasoning that drives your emotions

Played squares at Lane yesterday. Sprained my ankle mildly on my first run as king. The fucking thing popped as I shifted my weight forward and I fell backwards to avoid putting all my weight on it. I think I played pretty good considering the inital lack of mobility. The ankle became less of a factor the longer I played and kept moving.

Some highlights:
- great turnout
- 14 points in a row
- epic dual with Tom ending in a "facial"
- very successfull double-teaming
- "Damnit I haven't scored yet!"
"Really, and how old are you?"
- 3 out of 4 matches of 2S with Al

I iced and massaged the ankle last night then applied ointment and kept it wrapped. It was a little swollen and very stiff this morning. I'll still be able to play sunday. Rain in the forecast until then.

Last week I had several blissfull nights of sleep balanced out by slamming doors in the morning, stomach aches in the middle of the night and allergy attacks that kept me awake. DublYooTeeEf?

My ankle is much better, almost back to normal. Diet is still crappy. Hard to convince myself to jog. I see my baby nieces once a week.

That reminds me... one of the cutest things I think I've ever seen was Kaya (the older twin) trying to find some comfort to her constipation by sprawling out on my younger brother's stomach with her face nuzzled in his neck while he slept. He woke up slightly startled. Kaya raised her head with a very distressed look on her face, kissed his nose then returned to her nuzzling.

Can't wait to see them again next weekend.

I was scheduled to help with surgery as soon as I got into work today. We didn't end up doing it, thank God. I would have ended up eating lunch 2 hours later than normal. But somehow 2 patients were booked in the same time slot and everything went to hell. Work has been pretty shitty this whole week. Now I'm scheduled to come in at 7:30 (we normally start at 9:30) on Saturday. Fuck.

Don't know if the weather will be nice enough to play squares tomorrow. Fuck.
