....
*oh the sound of a man throwing up, good times*
So.
Saturday night: Player's party/Byrin's b-day party/general keg party at Scott's place.
Scott's place is pretty much the shit. It's basically a hippie collective based within a mansion, with 10 roommates total. = FANTASTIC party spot. Live music, plenty of space for plenty of people, couldn't ask for more.
HOWEVER.
Andrew ends up drinking more than he can handle: throws up. His grilfriend then drives HIM home, with the promise of returning to help out the rest of US in getting home (ie: we have no idea where the hell we are in Winnipeg, and we also have no idea where the hell Anderw's place is. Not a good position.)
GUESS WHAT.
We don't hear a word from Andrew's gf. She either didn't come back, or she DID come back and couldn't find us in that monster of a home.
So..I end up looking up Andrew's number/address in the phone book (remembering his Dad's name among the 70 or so Grants living in Winnipeg), and call upon local net player Joel for a helping hand with directions.
Apparently JESS can get us back from a certain road called...*thinks*...Grant road, I guess, so since Joel can't direct us all the way to Andrew's place, he directs us there. We get there...tentatively. Along the way, Byrin asks to leave the vehicle just in case he needs to puke. We stop on a MAIN THOROUGHFARE WITH OUR HAZARDS ON.
A CAR ALMOST FUCKING HITS US. ie: ANDREW'S CAR, NOT OURS.
Rory says, "So Byrin, feeling better? Because we're not staying here. Okay get in, get in. Get in. Come on. Get in." It was pretty scary. SUPER scary actually.
Drunk Jess *amazingly* manages to get us back to Andrew's place in one piece, without even having to backtrack at ALL. It was a really silly night, and we were all super stoked to get inside and get some sleep. Woo sleep.
HOWEVER.
Upon arriving at Andrew's bedroom door...we discover that we may have to do without the floor-beds that were made up for us. Him and his girlfriend are already occupying the space.
So now...I am writing this, and will most likely fall asleep on the floor right beside this chair.
I should probably go talk to Byrin for a bit first...I keep hearing him coughing over the toilet. YAY HAPPY BIRTHDAY BUDDY!
Peace.
At least I won sick 1 and 3.

I dub saturday night "Rory's Tale". It was by far the craziest night of my life. Kevin didn't even tell the half of it.
some random highlights:
- desert at applebees for lunch (apple chimicheese cake and oreo milkshake)
- Hackrifice Pool tournament friday night -> Best strategy ever of letting the other team scratch on the 8 ball
- cabbage patch kids quilt
- chocolate chip muffins
- shred30 personal best and first time performing a routine at a footbag tournament
- andrew and urban bakery spinning phat tunes
- crazy guy with nun-chucks, bike, and broken tree (he was on esctasy)
- spaghetti dinner and byrin birthday cake
- Claiming my winnipeg mansion.
- almost dieing on the way to the saturday night party (nearly had a headon collision)
- cranberry crantastic slurpee
- THE ENTIRE PARTY (too many things to mention right now...)
- nearly dieing on the way home from the party (as kevin mentioned). I think the guys were actually drag racing... I can't ever remember being so scared in my life
- drawing
- the forks (we hit some new tricks on vid)
...
I think the hardest part was saying goodbye.

Again, thank you to the shredmonton guys for making it out! And my sincerest appologies for getting totally fucked and leaving you stranded on saturday night. At least you have some good stories to tell the grand kids!
If you guys could send me a pm with what you felt was well done and what could be improved on i would love to hear it so we can make it bigger and better for next year!!!
Also, a big thank you goes out to Daryl and Sunny at Freedom Footbags for providing us with prizes! You guys are the best!
Thanks to every one who helped out, all our sponsors and every one who stopped by to check it out... even the e-tard who was trying to steal t-shirts, he definately added to the memories.
See you all again next year!!!
edit: nearly dying seems to have been a central theme this year. i'll see if i can't pull that one together for next year
