This is the same kid who decided that playing in jeans was the same as playing in shorts, and refused to use shorts cuz he didn't want to look stupid.
You're not gonna convince him of anything.
Rod Lavers *extremely* uncomfortable.
Anyways, i walked around in lavers for over 2 years and counting. Even when my soles are gone and held together by shoe goo and duct tape they are comfortable for me. in chicago (zeke and anyone else in his apartment can vouch for me here) i had 2 huge holes in both shoes, duct taped over them and walked over 10 miles that day in them. in addition to shredding in them. my feet hurt a little. but not from the shoes.
go get an arctic orange shake from mcdonalds.

Have you modded the canvas out of the inside? I find Lavers become astronomically more comfortable when you do. They're like slippers.
Also, just for the record, this is not only the guy who refused to do all of the aforementioned things, but refused to come out and play with Rain City Shred.
I've known that you both footbag and live in Seattle for at least six to eight months... How come I've never met you?

Those were some cool looking Goonitz before you cut that logo out, Freddy.
Case in point, to have any conviction at all still needs a small fraction to actually doing them. Let's get into basics here:
I have two things you might be interested, but you might retort me on how they look or have a questionable interest on spending money.

Case in point, to have any conviction at all still needs a small fraction to actually doing them. Let's get into basics here:
- You don't like Lavers, but want to salvage them. That's cool. I still have my old Red Lavers that i find uncomfortable, but still *hack* in them.
- You don't like G-units because of the rap culture. Whatever. You're missing out on a great pair of shoes based on it's immense benefits in support and performance. Fine.
- Climas are rare. Quantums are still in production. Those two are out.
- Your feet hurt.

- Nastase Millenium. They're like the Rod Laver Milleniums, but may be a tad bit heavier and are leather. Sunil Jani plays in Rod Laver Milleniums, but these shoes basically the same design but in leather.
- New Balance CT 300. Joshua Rose enlightened me over PM that they're still in existence, and they're probably one of the more and better comfortable freestyle shoes out there. A better alternative to the Rod Laver shoe. I think Richard Abshire and Henry Griese can vouch for these shoes.
I'm done.

Heres the lowdown on the 300's
Good inside surface. Thick material. Toe surface is questionable. Walls are low and out of the way. Still.... thick material so roll off is in issue. Definitely shreddable. Comfortable, supportive. Somewhat cheap, got mine for $20.
