well, I've been playin some footbag lately

I have been trying to improve my toe game, so along with drilling 2's, atomic, and pixie, I have also been practicing eggbeaters. I didnt hit any at our last session, but I have been hitting a bunch of the lately.I even footed pigbeater barefoot.

I think I have forgot how to do stepping, after I thought they were improving, they seem to have left my game entirely.

My whirls look funny, I have been trying to clean up my form on them and feel like I'm doing them right, but when I watch them from the camera, they look retarded.

new stuff-
-dyno b2b
-symp. whirl bs
-eggbeater in a string

I definitely think all of the footbaggers need to post more here. I only played one time hardcore this week, but tonight i played a little tonight in hopes of getting warmed up for the session im having at riverside tomorrow. You are all invited! Im still trying to figure out why footbag is so hard. No luck. I did dbl bsos smear, and torque tonight. I really wish i was better at footbag. I know one day i will be better at footbag because i practice really hard. I think i have already used that metaphor, but that just goes to show that i dont even remember what im talking about about any more.

Terrible session.

I lost double spinning.

And mobius is still hard.

Why? What the fuck?

I will never give up.

Luis, your still double spinning?,.......I had expected you to be triple spinning by now! Oh, and your video is awesome.

I have been playing a lot of footbag lately, I hadn't been playing that well for about a week until today because I had to let my knees heal yesterday and today and tied my shoes tighter.Together, these seemed to make all the difference in my performance.

I have been drilling just about everything, but I still don't like the way my whirls look, my eggbeater is thin, my flipside pixie doesnt have an "on" button like my strong side, my dyno isn't getting any better, and I can't seem to grasp drifters or torques

On the positive side, I feel that my osis has improved and that I'm am starting to grasp the concept of zooming.

When are we gonna jam!!!!, I want to play with the rest of you guys before you go down to Texas(and it pisses me off that I can't go  )

Late night session tonight

Played ok, really worked stepping...new things-
-blurry whirl only on one side, almost flip
-ripwalk X6

even though I played ok tonight I am still in a bad moood because Louis and Ben are in Texas right now and I couldnt be there!!! and, I have to spend my whole day in Edmond tomorrow while my mom leaves for brazil for 2 weeks. Plus, I'm really sore, I'm gonna go get me some bagel bites, maybe that'll make things better.

Many congratulations to the Rinowski brothers for practically sweeping the freestyle portion of the Texas Statewide tournament, Ben in Open and Louis in Novice.

Ben Rinowski. So hot right now. Ben Rinowski. He's got STYLE and SKILLS. It's a killer combination. I see the Luis Monhollon influence in his style, but he's got his own thing going on. Styles for miles. He hit Bedwetter when everyone was looking except me.

Great to have you guys down. Thanks for coming. We need to shred together again for sure :)

In the meantime: MAKE A TULSA SHRED VIDEO! I will totally break out the popcorn and beer and watch that shit. I would like to see Teddy Monhollon footage too. Rock on,

Ben

arggghhhhh!
I'm kinda mad, I decided to get insoles and when I tried them on in my lavers they felt great, so I got them, only after I had bought them and trimed them did I realized how frikin heavy they make m shoe! The show without the insole isn't that heavy, the insole doesnt seem heavy, but together they do seem to weigh a lot. :( I noticed in my session tonight, because my foot was kinda late getting to the bag on certain tricks. If anyone has any suggestions on what to do, I'm listening

Tonights session sucked, I have been working atomic and stepping but tonight they both were very very inconsistent. The only good thing was osis x13 or 14, can't remember and infinity x30, which also is bothering me because I couldnt get 31 and beat my personal record.

For my birthday, my parents are getiing me this- http://www.rainbowtronics.com/products. ... =pricescan so I can actually start making footbag videos, something I've wanted to do for a long time. It was like $450 at circuit city and $474 at best buy, I knew I could find it cheaper online. If anyone reads this (even though I doupt it's anyone other than people form oklahoma) and knows that it sucks and that I could be getting a lot better camera for the same price, let me know

Handycams are awesome.
I had a pretty damn fantastic session today considering that i have developed some kind of foot pain. I have a pretty good idea about whats wrong but i dont feel like explaining it or even punctuating correctly for that matter.
Today i drilled alot of spinning and ducking and whirling and shit.
I was tryin to take it easy so i just schooled some of my favorite easier semi-difficult medium hard moves such as gyro/spining mirages combined with everything i could think of.
Also the other day i double bsos'd whale tail which felt good. I play footbag everyday still.

Hmm lets see,
Yesterday I just took it easy. I mostly did spinning and ducking tricks in long runs. I was really diggin combos such as gyro mirage>egg beater>tons of shred>repeat. I was also substituting the gyro mirage with whale tail, but only managed to hit it flipside once.
Today I had to spin alot with tons of ducks and downtime dexes double and single. But that was only a warm up. I took the shoes off and drilled the fuck out of pixie. I was also doing lots of guays. I hit my longest pixie shuffle ever which was only llike 7. It consisted of
magellan>smear>pixie mirage>magellan>smear>pixie legover>smear>pixie ground stall. Ok so thats 8. Though 8 is pretty weak i am very happy because up until 11:40 today i had practically no pixie game. By the end of 7th hour i was able to duck and dive pixies several times!
