On sat. we took off around noon'ish or so. I think it was a bit after because Caleb introduced me to Entourage. Basically, it's a show about an actor who lives pretty big and lets his friends leech off of him and share the good times. So I picked up Iain & Jake and we were off. Kept a really good pace of 70 - 90 mph, averaging a little over 80 for the most part. I saw about 4 cars pulled over on the way there, but I lucked out for the trip there.

We pulled into the hotel to check in and were pleasantly suprised by the lay out. The host hotel (Holiday Inn) was very kind to us. They had a pretty nice indoor pool and hot tub that I was in constantly. We stopped at the site to say hello to everyone and get the low down on what was goin down. Pretty much hotel shred, so we went back to eat and get some kickin done.

We found a really nice area called... KeyStone Room A I believe. We set up there and were relatively quiet for a while. More and more people heard where we were kickin, and more and more people showed up. So it was a pretty full room and I decided it was time for some music. I'm not sure what time we started, but I was one of the first in and last out. I do and don't regret it at the same time. I'm really happy I stuck it out to the end just to say, hey, I stuck it out and shred my heart out. But then the rest of the weekend was pure hell for me. I had a couple highlights - atomic drifter > ps whirl > twirl > run - that one took a couple tries. Also hit pixie ducking xbody rake, neat.

It was great seeing everyone again, I got to shred with a large handful of people. Let's see if I can remember some names... Taishi, Caleb, Jake, Brad, Matt C, Ben R., Chris O., Dave C., Paul A., Scott B., Scott ?, Ryan T, and others I haven't mentioned. I'd like to do a midtypeout shoutout.

First off, Waylon for takin a shit load of time and heart to help fix my shoes. That definitely doesn't go unlooked, I'll post some pics and vids of me shreddin in them. Unfortunately since I didn't have my G-units, I had to use Wayways that had huge toe boxes, I couldn't do my normal pixie/fairy play do to lack of consistancy. So I did a lot more atomics and my hips are still a bit sore from it ! Anyways... my boys in Pittsburgh for taggin along. Caleb for showin me a good time in Pitt. Iain for makin me laugh and pullin out some mad crazy white boy dance moves, namely 'Discovering Mad Cow'. Jake for partyin with me and chillin throughout the whole trip. Cleavens for bein the madman he is, hookin me up with a great bag, and just overall good friend. Brad for being my best friend. Tyan Rhomass for makin his way out, I'm not sure if he understands how excited I get when I see him each time. It's always like a big suprise when I see him, I love watchin him shred, such style ! Taishi for keepin me on my feet the whole first night and shreddin till the bitter end. Very cool guy with some impressive calves and shred, haha. Ben Roscoe for showin me those neat Nylon lavers and some interesting mods, nice guy, should be a good shredder in a couple months. Chris Dean (James the australian) for showin me his ultimate style. Matt Cross for shreddin the hell outta my lavers. He also offered to help me with my shoes, I don't think he knew what he was gettin into, haha . Bevier for lettin me taste a large pitcher full of pale ale of some sort & of course shredding like no one's business. I wish to one day have a fraction of his string diversity and length...one day...one day. Big ups to the big G.O.D, just kiddin. Big ups to Nathan Pipenberg for showin me some trully sweet kicks, haha. I wish I could have shred with everyone there, but I was way to sore and sick come Monday.

Anyways, onto the event. So I shred all night and we had to clean up the room until it was spotless. Word was that the hotel was a bit pissed at us using the room the whole night. So we cleaned it up as we all united and were a cleaning force to be reckoned with. Then next day I kicked a bit, but was just too damned sore. So instead of kicking horribly all night, I Just called it quits and drank all night. I had all sorts of beers and just blacked out later that night. I was talkin to Caleb and we came to the conclusion it was cause I took a 2 week break prior of no drinking. I started drinking on a relatively empty stomach, I was dehydrated, and I started drinkin in the hot tub,. So yeah, After like 8, I don't really remember anything ! Other than waking up and feeling like hell. I was sick and sore, sooo sore...so drunk and hungover.

The next day was definitely the best day weather-wise. It was so nice, those gorgeous blue skies scattered with white clouds. It was a really nice day to be hungover and miserable. I just gimped around and watched people shred. Oh yeah, thanks to Aiden and her babyspider proof sleeping bag. So yeah, I was watchin shred on the grass and all of a sudden I see this dog head pop up above the bush next to me, scared me a bit. This dog was HUGE !!! It was really nice and I talked to the owners. They had another dog that was droolin like he just ran 10 miles in the desert. The biggest dog was 140 lbs and she said he used to be 170 lbs... 8O . I'm wierd with dogs and have a huge comfort with them. I told Aiden to get a picture of me kissin the big drooly dog on the lips. I went in the first time and got scared and ran off the first time. There was drool goin eeeeverywhere. So the second time I start goin in and I'm like...6 inches away from his face. The dog suddenly starts shakin his head to shake all the slobber off his face, that stuff when all over the place !!! Gross !

Anyways, we said all of our goodbyes to everyone around 3 PM. It was hard leavin the event and saying goodbye to everyone. Big props to Joe and Brenda Solonoski for holding this event for... 21 YEARS!!! Wow. Also Pete Irish did a great job mc'ing the whole thing and gave his presence out well. A couple odd wording of footbag titles, but nonetheless, great introductions to all the freestylers... My favorite... "David Clavens, one of the Worlds best...US Champions .. !!" hahaha. Pete was namin off all these players and their World US status and got to Dave and said that, too funny. I wasn't there for Beviers introduction, but I heard he said somethin like. "Gordon Scott Bever, one of the World's, finalists many times" - or something like that, hahaha.

Anyways, I'll post some of my choice pics.

At the rest stop actin a fool. My whistler has been really good to me thus far & has kept the police off my tail.

So I payed for another month of Ragnarok Online because a couple of my friends randomly decided we should play again. So mine is up and working, but my friend's isn't. After a good bit of troubleshooting, we decide I should just bring my tower over and transfer some files to get it working. Well, once I get my PC over there, it doesn't work. Doesn't work as in my PC has no signs of life at all. So I got like 11.5 hours of sleep last night due to lack of sleep through the week and being a little upset and stressed about my computer, that and prolly cause school is starting back up... tomorrow !

So I've decided if shit doesn't start working, I'm going to rebuild a NEW COMPUTER !!! I'll sell some shit if I have to, I don't care. Goodbye Nano and iM7 if I need to. Anyways, I'll keep my Ram, Harddrive, DVD player, and that's about all. I'll replace the mobo/ processor, power supply, new harddrive, another dvd drive, and a kick ass video card.

Footbag news ? None. My knee is still partially gimp, but I think it's time to start kicking. My soreness from last weekend is gone, but I still have traces of a cold with respiratory congestion & possible sinus infection. **weezes** **coughs**. Maybe I'll shred some today and sweat out all stresses and such. Well, time to trouble shoot the core hardware of my computer -__-

Sooo... another non footbag entry. Just woke up late...for my first day of school. I'll be going into class with pta students that were a year behind me. Basically I don't want to get up now because my professor just called me and asked where I was. I told her I didn't really know what to do other than be a good bit late and wate until break so I could go back into the class. *shrug* All I know is this is a very bad way to start up the year, atleast it can only go uphill from here !

Someone should be mailing my Aiden bag back to me from Funtastik. I really didn't think that bag would come back to me, but I guess it shall be !! I haven't played or really done any physical activity since Funtastiks so today would be the first day back. I didn't play footbag, although I still have my shred shorts on and it's like 2 am. I did however exercise...damn everything felt heavier. I've lost a couple pounds, and I'm sure it's in muscle cause all I've done is sit around. So I definitely need to get back with it all and start exercising and playing more footbag. So hopefully this weekend I'll get a nice long hard session in with my new modified shoes :o

So I just got off the phone with Dee, I guess we're no longer of dating status. I'm bummed...but not broke up about it. I also have a test tomorrow, and I'm not ready. Instead I've procrastinated and now I've got a night full of studying and heavy thoughts. Life is just back and forth up and down....left and right, and etc. etc. *sigh*

Just purchased the grey shoes. Nike Free 5.0 V2. I can't help it, I went back to the store today to try them on and they're just so comfortable. Even if they're not perfect for footbag, I'm sure my body will be very happy I'm carrying those around instead of my heavier non breathable g-units.

I'm still goin on a record of not playing, 2.5 weeks !! Anyways, I can play later this week, but I've been under test taking recently and been bogged down. I've been procrastinating a bit much and this post is another form of procrastination. I took my first test of the fall quarter and totally slammed ass for as much as I studied. I got a good 3 hours of sleep and took it this morning - with bonus questions, I missed 1 :) .

Played first time since Funtastik's...quite a while. So i start to drive home towards City Park..and then I suddenly rememeber.... SNAP , i left my footbag at work. So, anyways, my footbag is at work and my other bag is unknown. Yarg. I'm going to sleep in a couple minutes...that should feel good, f the rest of the people being noisey in my house, f 'em.

Oh yeah, footbag felt really good. Even though I haven't played in ages, freestyle felt really solid with tricks I've been wanting to hit for a while now. I'd have these urges to hit this or that, and I'd invision it, get excited, and not play. So it's been a big build up and boy was it fun. I shred in the street cause I didn't feel like going all the way back to work to get my bag. So I just went home and got another one.

Also, my Clavens bag is missing in action. It wasn't my usual how I lose things. I totally knew where it was and I believe since it's a bit rolly, it came out of my pocket when I was getting in and out of the car while going to lunch. I checked the parking lot later and even went in and asked the lady that was working at McDonalds if she'd seen one of these **pulls out footbag** except it's red and grey, haha. She gave me a wierd look and checked, no luck.

So anyways, I just figured out that today I'm going to Charlotte to visit my sister. She just got out of the hospital and just bout died. So I'm glad I can make it out there and work is cool with it. I'll just use the time while I'm down there to study up and get ready for some more tests. So far I've got a 97 % in Musculoskeletal Dysfunctions & an 84% in Neurological Conditions. That class is rediculously hard for me. Mind you I've already taken that class once before and passed. When I read over everything, it feels like I'm learning it for the first time. Hard stuff, so i'm glad I'm taking that class again. Anyways, I better get some things done and clean up before I go.

Peace !

SOooo... footbag has been pretty weak lately. I finally got my Aiden back thank goodness. A nice fellow by the name of Chris Obara mailed me my bag back. I also just got my new Nike Frees V2 in the mail a couple days ago. It was so nice out that I had to put them on and ride my bike to work. I have these straps that go over my feet so I didn't want to get my shoes dirty... Hmmm... WWMD ? (What Would Macgyver Do?) So I threw some socks... OVER my shoes and then road to work. Hahaha, there were some confused faces when I pulled up to work and slid my socks off. Anyways, the shoes are really nice. They really are the lightest shoes I've ever worn. I've gotten so many compliments from people it's absurd !! I think people are used to seein me with black shoes cause I still think I look goofy with white shoes on (grey).

So I tried shredding in the yesterday...and must I say, I AM A FAN !!! I felt totally free , except for my clipper game. The shoes have a lot of roll off, but with the right adhesive, I may be able to fix it. I'm going to stop at Lowes today and look for some silicone or something else. Basically I shred with those and then I tried my G-units on like 25 minutes later, they felt like I was shredding with bricks on my feet. So if I have to, I'm going to buy another pair for just shred and really put some mod'ing efforts on them. I really think that developers of freestyle shoes must put weight as one of the TOP priorities. Just seeing the potential for added control with these shoes made me wonder - Where would peoples' games be now-a-days if we all would have started with frees :) . Nemesis ?? Shit, 10 years ago !!! lol.

Anyways, I'm gonna upload some pictures I took here and there, mostly of my trip to Charlotte. I'll have some further pictures of my Nike Free endeavor later once I get the balls to mess with some uberly sexy shoes. Also, I'm movin out of this house this weekend...back to my mom's basement. This place has given me a great 2 years and I shall miss it. I can't even comprehend how many good times I would have missed if I were somewhere else. Good times... good times... I'm gonna finish up 3 more quarters of school, save some money up, and who knows after that. Pay some bills, buy a WRX STI, and play lots of footbag

Hope to see you all again at NYJ in Chicago. It won't nearly be as fun without you guys. I can understand if $ is an issue. I've been trying to save since last month for this event and possibly another soon after

If nothing else just send Bob; in case there's any trouble I can't handle alone

Gettin ready to exercise it up. Read some of Tom's blog & it's pretty cool how he's been training himself. It seems borderline serious functional training. So with that said, I'm gonna make some sore muscles today. Prolly exercise a little bit before my aquatics class starts. It's so slow on Saturdays that once I have all my work done, I can do whatever. So I think I'll be productive and work out some. Hopefully after work, I'll bust out some footbag. Brad said he was comin over, but I'm not sure if it's for footbag or exercise. Anyways, I wanna post some of my favorite pics I took from Charlotte. I've got some new ones I need to upload. Basically drunken singing and billiards action for my buddy's B-day, good times !

Wow, my footblog almost made it to page 3 ! I'm getting pretty lazy with the footbag scene. Doesn't mean I don't think about it all the time. I've been a busy bee with other things - school, haha.

I wanted to make sure to post this just because I thought it was pretty funny for a random dream. I guess if I have some interesting dreams I'll post them. If they're footbag related, they're definitely coming up. Anyways...last night I was in the backleft passenger seat driving with. Mr. Pipenberg and Nathan. I think we were going to Chicago New Years Jam, haha. I remember bein real pumped and Mr. Pipenberg was tellin us not to party to hard and for me not to let Nathan drink. He was like, now I don't want Nathan hittin the party to hard, he's a real lightweight. If you give him 1 beer, he'll be done for. Of course I agreed with the thought in the back of my mind...*1 beer? that is awesome !*

Anyways, that was the only part I remember of the dream. I still haven't modified my Free's, but I have been lookin online to buy another pair for some serious footbag shoe experiment. I'm tryin to find a sweet lookin pair of Frees size 9. It just sucks that I'm completely poor right now. I've procrastinated turning in my loan stuff so I need to do that this weekend. I just hope I get reimbursed for what I've payed off...so I can put that into the...go to Chicago funds. Anyways, I'm here at work, obviously working my ass off. After work I'll prolly crack the whip and break a sweat through exercise. I'm havin a lil contest with a guy that is pretty built in my class that at the end of this quarter, who can do the most inverted push ups... I haven't tried them in ages. I tried to do as many as I could at the end of my work out session. I got 6 and then my deltoids cramped real bad... Looks like I've got some work ahead of me !

Interesting turn of events today. I've failed neuro class due to some technical bullshit. That means I'm out of the program and everything I've put into it is all for not. I'm upset, yet head forward. I will go tomorrow morning and take my other final, hopefully get an A on it and go out with atleast a slight bit of dignity. Other than that I'm now looking for a change of lifestyle. I'm tired of doing what I do and wanted to move up, but I've fallen down so far to where it's not worth getting up. I need to roll to the side and get up elsewhere.

So a quick thought was, I need to do something that I can get decent money with something I could do remotely well and something I like. Truck driving. I love driving, but it would be a unhealthy lifestyle. It'd be possible to stay healthy, but tough. Other than that I'm lost for any other options. I'm going to go to work today and not sure what I'm going to say. I like to be truthful and when people say, hey John, How was your day ? I guess I'll just say I've had better. But I'm going to drop some bombs to the people that need to know.

It's just amazing how many hours and dollars I've put into the physical therapy program. And when it comes down to it tomorrow, I'm not going to have anything other than empty pockets and mind that is lost. Anyways, dissappointing post for sure, gotta keep moving, stay healthy, and get that green.

That's a bummer. I'm sorry it didn't work out man. That's bullshit that one class screws you over so much because you really are good at PT stuff. I don't know if it's an option, but if you still want to use some of those classes you've taken, like I was saying a few weeks ago, my program is pretty similar to what PTA is. You've had a bit of the core classes so you'd probably just have to do the general ed courses. It's very easy to get school loans here and there's no neuro. There are also lots of ladies  There'll be a room open here starting in the summer sessions. Just a thought...

Keep your chin up, buddy. There's always Citizen Snip...atleast that's my plan.
