A Flash of Style - Bevier Fall '06
A Flash of Style - Bevier Fall '06
If you don't know, I now live in the same town as Scott Bevier. Over the past few weeks I've brought my camera to a few sessions, and gotten a few good lines everytime I go. I put some of them together to show that Scott is still ripping it. In my opinion he is one of the most underrated players out there.
I would of edited it all nice, but the shred speaks for itself, and I suck at editing.
Enjoy. Comments welcome.

Awwwww yeah! That was my first reaction. Gordon is soooo smooth, I love watching him shred. That PS eggbeater in the beginning was so big, I loved it. The rest of the shred was just awesome. I really enjoy the variety of moves Gordon has and he seems to be able to string any two moves together that he wants to. That is some serious skill.
Thanks Dave for putting this together and sharing it with us.
Cornell! BE THERE!

at least you're honest 'bout your editing skills..
i knew gordon beavier from flash.wmv, which didn't really excite me, but i must say after having watched this vid once: WHAT? SICK!!
really nice combos fluidly executed, very fast but at the same time controlled, awesome..!
i'm looking forward to an edited video with clavens and flash, this would be great!

Bevier. so hot right now. Bevier.
That was everything I want in a footbag video. I love single player vids that show a wide range of a person's style.
DC: busting the biggest tricks and publishing the best players.
Thanks for this, buddy. I liked fairy ss dlo> paradon swirl > gyro clipper.

Flash's nuclear set is hot shit.
Thanks for the toe-tappy goodness of original sound.

Cool very cool. His set to hit flurry looks sooo low to me. He just squeezes in all the dexes in the blink of an eye. Very impressive. I think I see Nathan Pipenberg in one of the shots and there is some other dude in lavers and shirt with a big "S" on it. Who is that? Could a scene be developing at Penn State?

Compliment
I think you two are really lucky to have eachother in your area. I mean really there aren't many people who could help Dave get better at this point, and the same goes for Flash. You guys are going to compliment eachother really well and I can't wait to see a couple of months down the road when you two have kicked together more. I bet you'll both be influential to eachothers style. Keep it up, you rock.
Also I remember a time around 2002 when Bevier would never bail, and I mean never, like I never saw bop from him that year (or hardly ever)! Although he was much more shuffle oriented and I think he has traded a few bails for more variety.
that's my two cents
thanks for the vid.....and I better see you guys at SJFF.

It took a surprising amount of professional and ethical restraint to keep myself from using my mod powers to change "SJFF" to "Cornell Footbag Jam."bustinjustin wrote:I
