yes they have a sauna
and i credit the sauna for allowing me to shred a 3rd day, I walked in a limping sore footbag'd out cripple, walked out a new man ready to shred.
Yeah im down for the polar bear club
I was dissapointed i never heard you guys mention it last year, i was assuming it was a last minute decision.
yes i do want a dj for the event.
If we cant get a dj say we get 3 people to volunteer making music mixs long enough to last the day without repeating music with very little profanity.
I will volunteer my music mix for a day

heres my friend im trying to convince to play it
http://www.myspace.com/bennjordan
his music is pretty cool and he does alot of sweet dj mixing stuff as well as the original stuff he has posted on his myspace.
Its just gonna be a factor of will he be in chicago or not.
If it was a paying gig he said it would be more likely, but i dont expect any financial offer to come his way.
but who knows, im gonna talk to him tonight about it and maybe try to sell him more on the idea of getting his music out and selling some cds having a tip jar and exct....
and chicago is his hometown with his family and friends so maybe the dates being near the holidays will also factor in

Just bought my tickets... my wallet got RAPED. buy your tickets fast if you're going to because they're going up quickly. Getting in at 8:30 on the 28th and leaving on the 1st at 7. Not worried about arranging it yet but if someone could pick me up that would be much appreciated. This is still 2.5 months away but I'm pretty excited. Ohh... and there's no way in hell I'm going swimming in Chicago in winter. haha.. I don't even swim in California in winter.

Im open for really anything with anyboyd while your in town just contact me i love to go out and party and always have lots of options.
There are some awesome party bars on the southside that hold special parties, or im sure there will be a slew of house parties to choose from

I'd rather not go out to the bars on NY Eve this year. It sounds more fun to save my money and hang out with underage footbag players...

yeah for new years eve its most likely gonna be a house party, all the bars worth going to make you buy expensive tickets just to get in the doors.
a house party would be a much better option for all.
but on another night im down to hit some bars for a bit, i know the right people to contact to get free vip partys for most bars. so im just saying if its something a group of you want to do let me know soon so i can get some things going

I personally would find it strange if you came to chicago and did no socializing/partying with the locals.
Maybe its just me im only concerened with footbag while playing footbag after im done playing i want to talk about and do other things.
some of you will be content with playing who stitched this bag and who hit what trick in what video conversations, its just not my style and anyone else who gets burnt out on footbag and wants to socialize and party with some regular chicago/suburb peeps then you got your own personal tour guide.
Its really to each thier own, there will be alot of people and a few different agendas among those people. so just find the peeps that suit your NYJ agenda and its no worries.
thats the way it was last year and everyone had a blast.

When he says expensive, he means atleast $100. I shit you not.tuomoruutufan wrote:all the bars worth going to make you buy expensive tickets just to get in the doors.
Anyways, there were a couple decent places for $20 or so. Actually, I think we only found 1 place because we were too cold and poor to search around any more.

Hyeeah! Lemme know for sure, and post your arrival details when u get emwasabi wrote:I think I can do some splurging for this event. When i can find time in the weekend, I'm booking my tickets for a flight to Chicago. Smile
Music: I was talking about actual mixing, maybe turntable action. But Ipods with dope mixes pre-arranged can work. we just plug those pups in. Don't forget dan is dj
Damn that seattle website is crazy. Mike strumpf? when was that? old school pic of alex zerbe. So justin D (Hoot!) and scott B.
Jorden in the house! Jorden and johnny together in chicago again? Booyah.
Woot, fletcher!
Party, yes it would be nice to have a house party, i should look into a possible bigger house than Z & R's if possible so we can have more room, make more noise, some play footbag maybe, invite some hotties, etc.
Shawn i love you, but give up on the whole party hopping thing. last year was so much fun, and we just hung out in the hotel/suite. You are the only one (maybe WV?) who wants to. And then it would leave out so many of us, (just me?
)
