well were only staying in the hotel for 2 nights, so we will have plenty of time and opportunity for hotel schinanigans

the first night will definately be hotel madness, i propose and challenge anyone to a beer bong race.

but the next night i think alot of people may want to see some of the city.

we can go to the blackhawks game (8 bucks with college id) we can go to second city on saturday for the free midnight show (the famous improv comedy club), theres this awesome bar called howl at the moon which has dueling pianists doing bad ass rockin cover songs all night, theres the famous dance club crobar and exct... exct... exct...

theres just alot of stuff for people to do outside of the hotel and if a fair amount of you show interest i will definately get some things organized. if not then being a drunken footbagin boob in hyat is fine with me as well.

I get burnt out on talking about NON footbag things in the NON footbag world!!!

I go to footbag events to talk footbag non-stop! HARD COOOOORRRE!!!

I like the idea of partying.. but why waste a bunch of money at a bar when all the coolest people are the ones we would be bringing?

And shawn, I am not attacking you personally, I hope you don't feel that way, I am just against the idea of breaking up the group of people that should really be spending all the quality time together that we can!

I'd really like to go to NYJ, but at the same time, I'm so burnt out from school I also really want to just hibernate during my vacation. My winter break plans are still tentative, but I hope Tom saves a spot in the car for me.

oh no i didnt think of it as an attack and by no means will the group get broken up at all especially the first 2 days.

after 2 days of non stop footbag and hotel madness i got a feeling a few of you visitors may want to do some other things, doesnt have to be a bar in particular but like I previously mentioned theres alot to do and experience, this a fucking awesome city and the earlier we start chatting and game planning some fun activities for when 3 days of footbag is over the better.

It will most likely come to spur of the moment stuff like last year the wv guys and emily found out about the polar bear club. I would love to get a more of us on board to do that.

some im not trying to persuade anybody to do what i think is best, just putting it out there that if you have any ideas or thoughts on non footbag non hotel fun then put them out there and i can talk to some people and get things organized for it.

I just want to be a good host and give you guys the opportunity to enjoy more than a hotel suite and footbag madness if any of you desire more than that, then i would like to be the guy who comes through.

so just ideas, I cant stress enough that i would be very happy to do nothing but footbaging and partying with my footbag peeps, I just want to stress its gonna be a long weekend and there is plenty oppportunity for so much more!

I get to enjoy chicago every weekend i wont be missing out on anything so i could really care less, but i do have a long standing tradition of kissing a girl every new years eve so if we have a footbagger party im gonna have to call up my lady friends to join us.... i dont think many of you will mind will ya?

Wow Tom! You pretty much summed up everything I was going to say, all in a few lines. I'll chill with and we can geek out on footbag. Hell that's what I do at jams and comps anyway. I'm there to play footbag and to have fun, not live a normal life I could live in Portland. Shit, I'm so pumped for this jam!

you guys dont have to fight me on this whole lets do non footbag stuff.

Its an odvious given there will be people playing footbag 24/7 the entire time your in chicago, this can go without being said.

But when some of those people get tired of playing footbag tired of being in the hotel or if some of those people end up wanting to check out chicago.

then

Its easier to get some ideas for some night time stuff goin on now so that we can be ready and everybody can know who is doing what when and were. when we save stuff like this for the spur of the moment then people miss out or dont get invited and well that just sucks.

theres gonna be alot of people like you who is only gonna be in chicago for footbag they will be easy to spot cause they will be playing footbag. other plans things get more complicated and they should be talked about beforehand

so if you only want to come to chicago for footbag than that can go without being said and is the easiest most simple plan for your vacation possible and i will see you in the cirlce.

if you want city of chicago plans for a night of fun then pm i would love to set that up and get all that is interested involved

Do you have a 2 month break or just like 2 weeks? Either way, you want to break up the school>school like this:
school>NYJ>other fun>hibernation>school. That way you'll be better prepared for school. And yes I'll save a space in the car... oh you meant mosh ;).
i do have a long standing tradition of kissing a girl every new years eve so if we have a footbagger party im gonna have to call up my lady friends to join us.... i dont think many of you will mind will ya?
I don't mind. I'll mind if it doesn't happen. hehehe

Yeah so I'm really excited about this game Dat and I came up with. We're gonna try it out first and if it's good we'll play @ NYJ and have heaps of jolly fun.

Oh man, were you serious about that? That's so awesome. I say all prizes go to ghetto games. But, man, I don't know if I can hang in the orange peeling contest.
