Now for a beginner..As always, constructive criticism is what I am after,,

Far left bag is my first, 2nd left bag is 2nd, third bag is the newest. And a footfighter for comparison.

I for one, am a complete fan of blind stitching, doing the entire last Pent as such...This is my first bag which I can't tell where I finished!....

Sucks that it is to small to use, and the material is to stiff...

It's called everest suede, I do believe. It's nothing really like Ultrasuese Lite, just about 3 months ago I strolled into a fabric store, and they said it was the thinnest suede they had. I figured it'd be close enough, but it's nothing comparable. So I figure I'll stitch with it until I use it up, and then start with Ultrasuese Lite...And I need some of those glovers needles..

Nice Brian, Brocka I love colors and the planet footbag design on there.
This is bag 26, I screwed it up in a few places (stitches too big/far.) For sale cheap.

I'm still screwing around with whether or not I want my bags to have triangular or hexagonal bleed holes.. I think I'm going to shoot for more hexagonal ones for easier filler change but does anyone have an opinion regarding better play?

why would you sell a bag that youre not happy with? uneven stitching is a huge part of how long a bag lasts and how it plays.

Hexagonal ones feel much softer and, depending on your template size and flange length through your stitching style, can firm up the bag at a decent degree. Meaning, the hexagons come out looking a bit puffier due to constriction of the facile panel sewn into the bag. Performance-wise, when the bag is new, the added flange can build out as a stable foundation to keep the bag's shape spherical, before it turns out too "pancake-y" with further break-in.

Also, the added flange can make for a blocker for your filler, so that it doesn't leak out too much or at all. The short side of the hexagon may be dependent on how tightly you stitch each pentagon. Tightening your pent corners can efficiently tighten the bag's bleed holes well enough that it firms up along with any added flange.

Concerning triangular hex bags: I think they break in slightly faster than bags with larger bleed holes and more flange, but oftentimes can make a bag extremely stiff at first touch. I guess filler distribution would be more concentrated on the pents than the hexes.

Oh joy. I tried taking Brinards/Brians advice from a wee bit ago, of "stitching in a straight line", and "being more consistent" but somehow, in the hundreds of little stitches it didn't quite work right...
