Fox Network & broadcasters' right to lie

This is older, but I found it interesting. I recommend reading the first half.

“In February 2003, a Florida Court of Appeals unanimously agreed with an assertion by FOX News that there is no rule against distorting or falsifying the news in the United States.

Back in December of 1996, Jane Akre and her husband, Steve Wilson, were hired by FOX as a part of the Fox “Investigatorsâ€

its too bad because CNN is the so slanted its ridiculous, and i always thought FOX was a bit more objective, even if it was "distorting the truth".

That's a good site. I just read up to #5 in the top 25. Super scary, makes me feel like..."Okay, but what can I do."

Long post Emily. But interesting.

I read most of it and agree that I should be able to fire my employees if they aren't willing to lie for me.

Fox has been shit for a while now.

Every talking head who used to be on CNN, and PMSNBS,, is now on Fox like some kind of expert.

O'reilly is a eunich.

Broadcasters can lie all they want, but they probably have less protection than politicians, who can swear on a stack of bibles, and tell a million lies.

Murdoch has a monopoly, or illegal foreign ownership of too much media.

He will do what he can to get Hillary elected, in exchange for allowing him to keep control of his empire.

Lying is technically not a crime. But I'm not going to conduct my own business that way, or tell possible employees to lie.....unless we have to lie to keep L.E. off our backs.

Only the true sucker, un-necessarily tells the truth, if it means they obviously face jail, for harmless crimes.
Is Wayne Brady gonna have to choke a bitch?

No way dude.. Fox is the biggest group of evil conservative assholes on the planet. (Besides our government.) All news is biased..I get all my news from comedy central. How sad is that?

I am watching the Colbert Report to get my news from here in Germany. After subscribing to a few newsletters here and there, just so when I return to Canada I wont be completely out of the loop I found that Colbert was better. So I unsubscribed.....
