Ok. JrStubs came up with the idea of a footbag soap. We need some ideas or ingredients that would make a perfect soap for facile/footbags.

I used to watch Days of Our Lives with my mom when I was a young kid. You could make a soap like that using some of the footbaggers on Modified as characters. Maybe Matt Cross could be one of the stars, Emily Kulczyk a potential love interest? Sam Colclough seems like a good character for a dramatized soap opera. Anyway, good luck!

haha originally i thought the name of the thread meant the same thing chris....

but i use a non wax based shampoo for my footbags and it cleans them up pretty good

maybe... but the less you wash it, the dirtier it gets... and the more susceptable to creating holes and tears in the fabric.

you should wash it at least once every 3 sessions... thats wut i do

all ive found from soaps is that certain ones turn the bag grey. zest body wash does that. so does the cheapo ones from school.

ive used lots of different soaps and i dont think it makes any difference as long as it dosent leave the bag waxy. good smellyness is just a plus.

I've heard from a couple different people that Baby Shampoo works really well because it's gentle.

actually, scented soaps are generaly harsher on your skin and less good for you, so I can only imagine that a scented soap would be less ideal for footbags aswell.

You hit the spot, Baby shampoo works good. I used to use concentrated dish soap that sh*t f*cked my bag... like... worse then umm.. don't even want to say it. I sat there for like 20 minutes trying to squeaz out all the bubbles and I swear more were being made.. ugh.

Anywho lesson learned don't use concentrated dish soap..

i have also heard the thing about certain scented soaps being bad for your skin. the main place i heard this from was from tattoo artists when i got tattoos. scented anything pulls color out of your skin and also pulls out vitamin e (vitamin e keeps skin soft and healthy). one time i used zest body wash (like brian mentioned) and it made the colors bleed and i think it dissolved some of the lead inside the bag.

this is why when i make my footbag soap i use organic tea tree oil, peppermint extract, and a secret ingredient. i use the same soap on my tattoos. these ingredients are the best ive found.

i've found that a liquid fadric detergent works best, makes sense as facile is a type of fabric.
