the next person should sell it for it's cumulative value, like $50 or something.

Didn't you say that was the best bag you had? Why did you sell it?

I think a lot of people don't know what they're talking about most of the time. Plus, all of these flammatory commentaries are going away from the topic's true intention, which is really stupid.

This is all getting way too dramafied, just like how modified is most of the time.

Sorry Ben, but that has to be the worst reason ever to sell a footbag from your collection.

yeah, sorry, thats pretty fucked up. but it makes me curious...how good was the bag in actuality? because its a little known fact that i cant stand whatever the fuck vindicators name is and it pleases me to hear someone had to lie about the quality of a bag he stitched in order to sell it......for 1/2 of the original price at most and 1/3 at the least.
i feel like the buyer should have become suspicious when ben was selling his 'best bag' for 12 dollars...

Back on topic...

I sold too early. I think a lot of stitchers are inclined to do that.

For those of us who can't learn from others' mistakes, it teaches you a good lesson, on both ends of the deal... for the buyer, it teaches you that you can't just buy a bag from anyone and expect it to be good, and for the seller, it teaches you to that it sucks to sell an unpolished product, because then your customer is displeased, and they'll tell their friends, and you'll get a bad rep.

Unless we're going to instate some kind of certification system, I think this is going to continue to be an issue.

What if we were to pick the best stitchers (or 2 or 3) from each global region (north america, europe, asia, south america), and then, you send your bag to one of them, and if they like it, you're a certified good stitcher?

I guess we'd have to think of a certain set of criteria that the elite stitchers would all look for.

which is not to say that one would have to have such a certification to sell / stitch.

just a thought.

(I vote Peng / Mosher [team?], Abshire, Mirken, and someone from the midwest... jake raye? is he still active? his bags are sweet.)

Even if she is retired, I vote for Lonn Vo to critique my bags properly.
