how is it inflated? you made a comment saying you couldnt freestyle with them, i was just stating that it was possible to freestyle with them, they are not "impossosible" to freestyle with, the other day even i was hitting links with them, what your saying is totally your opinion, and your opinion alone, i think chainmail bags are decent bags, i personally wouldnt use them as my main bag, as they dont break in at all, and are as is, but if I can freestyle with one, then anyone in here could eliminating your theory that you cant freestyle with them

Well, when you have equipment available that out performs chainmail bags to a much higher degree in stall and set consistency, then why bother that they are freestylable? In fact, the matter in which chainmail bags are in freestyle is that they are difficult to use. If you are going to spend a set amount of hours to disprove that chainmail bags are indeed freestylable, but have several frustrating sessions in which it won't set or stall properly to your variables in freestyle, then there's no use in making it further complicated. It's better to have a comfortable session than one to challenge yourself in your degree of skill (where instead of a chainmail bag, you can use, say, a piece of bread or a sock full of rice - whatever).

Also, Jim Penske is a highly advanced player compared to the usual freestyler. He knows what he can and cannot hit, and he can maintain his stamina and string length extremely well. If he can freestyle with a chainmail bag, i wouldn't be surprised. MANY people WON'T be surprised. However, that doesn't disprove the matter that chainmail bags can be comparable (in performance) to a regular bag. It only concludes that that player, or any player around his level of play, has enough experience to judge what he/she needs to do in order to control their strategy in using a different bag.

And, G-units can be a huge influence as well. They have a clipper rail, which can be an added benefit for a person's clipper game, especially for the leather versions.

These are several factors that are not directly applicable to the performance of the chainmail bag, but can influence whether a chainmail bag can be playable or not. As opinionated as you may think of my argument, my comments are usually relatively observant and clear. I still believe it is a novelty bag, used essentially for kicking/hacking/simple stalls/whatever. If you want to freestyle with it, fine. It's still a known fact that regular bags can outperform the slippery and hard feel of chainmail bags for shred.

If you still want to argue about this, let's do it in PM. Too much clutter has been done in this thread concerning this topic as it is. For what it's worth, I've already said too much.

As a maker of chainmail bags, I'd just like to say they vary enormously depending on the pattern used. I to think my pattern is good for freestyle, but not as good as a broken in 32p for hardcore shred, their best use is for training clipper and osis form. Anyway, pm me if you want to trade one.
