If someone's gonna do a bulk order for North America so I don't have to pay forty some dollars for shipping, I'll 100% buy some.

How is airbrushing? I've heard talk about it, but I haven't heard much feedback on how well it does for your shoes.

My cousin just recieve his pair of quantums. I played in them for like almost a minute. I kind of go with david on this one. I would only buy to support footbag, not for a better shoe.

I mean, the quantum is upside down on clippers? :?:

I think the toe box owns most of the other shoe and the clipper is sweet.

Jan told me that the upsidedown sole thing was his fault and would cost to much to fix

I can understand your enthusiasm. But pf must sell the older version first.

what are you all talking about? V1 has been sold out for a little while now, they already have prototypes for V2, and they've always had white AND black.

theirs like 3 threads for this shoe....

Does anyone wear Quantums as there regular shred shoe? Does anyone do this because they like them more than other shoes?

I'd love to buy just to support the sport and pf's effort, but I just don't have the money to throw into a product I won't use.

the black quantums are sold out. your only chance to maybe grab a pair is to check all the national planetfootbag webshops (austria, czech republic or germany) and see if there's a pair in your size left and if they're willing to send it to you.
for some rreason most people prefer the black version although i personally (and vasek for all who care) go for the white ones. i own three pair. one black as a sneaker, one white for shred and one white one i keep as fresh as possble and wear with a suit on ocasion (casual pimpness). btw, i paid for all my shoes even though i'm the president of planetfootbag switzerland, this is how planetfootbag works. and like most of you i don't have money to waste, so i wouldn't have bought three pairs if i thought it wouldn't be worth it. i switched from lavers to quantums and will not look back although i still have 2 pairs of fresh lavers in my closet. true, they do take some time to get used but no way as long as a new pair of lavers for instance. it took me about 3 sessions to decide the switch was worth it.

as to version 02, yes we're working on it. but the new version will not come out until spring. since we allow vasek at least one month of testing for each prototype. we are confident that we will have sold most of the version 01 by that time. but if not then we will have to postpone version 02 since we won't have the cash to stock the 02 unless we've sold nearly all of the 01's.

so if you've been thinking about getting a pair, do it now or for christmas latest. that way you'll be contributing to getting the version 02 out as soon as possible.

btw, thanks for all the constructive feedback we've been getting!

hope max doesn't mind that i quote personal correspondance:
I saw your post in the quantum feedback modified thread today, and it
reminded me of soemthing David Clavens had said in his blog: Why make Vasek
test the quantums? Sure he's the best player out there... but that doesn't
make him the best tester! The poitn that struck home for was: Vasek has
"super ankles" or insane ankle crank, call it what you will... well a lot of
people, the vast majority actually, don't have such a crank. Now I'm sure
that you've used other testers, and I'm not going to give you a course in
either marketing or economics because you've proved time and time again that
you have your shit down pat ;) So er.. yeah not quite sure what the point
was, but who are the other testers you're using? I'd imagine you're one of
them?
at this point it is simple: we've tested the general design of the shoe with many different players (me, karim, dexter, ales, vasek, honza, most of the footstars, amongst others). once we knew we had a decent design and functionality we went into production.

for version02 what we're mostly looking for is improving the durability. and vasek is simply the best person for this task. nobody shreds as much and as intense as him. the punishment shoes take in one month with him is about as much as they take on other peoples feet in a year or even more. so we simply get the best data on long term performance from having him test the shoes.

right now i always say the quantums are like the footfighter bags. they break in easily but don't last as long. once we are confident that the quality of the shoe in terms of long term durability is comparable to that of the lavers we will start further improving the functional aspects like tweaking the toebox, the ankle cut, etc. all the points that we've gotten feedback on. but since it's been only minor points of criticism we've gotten so far in terms of functionality and since we all know that tastes differ, we decided to focus on the durability first and then continue from there.[/quote]
