That's my special mod to keep my pinky toes from popping out the sides  .

Computer is still phucked, woe is me. I don't even know where the nearest computer shop is around here :/.

My last session was on Monday with Kevin, and I was hoping to kick today but guess what?! That's not going to happen! In my efforts to increase my quadricep size and strength, I completely obliterated them at the gym and now it hurts terribly to climb up/down stairs! Probably tomorrow though, despite the fact that my quads will still be sore then.

I think today I'm just going to read my book for the entire afternoon. Take it easy, you know? This weekend I'm going camping, and don't even have anything that I need to go camping with. Fuck. I'll just have to wing it and see how I survive...

ahahaha! He's totally not lying too, he climbed about 6 of the 14 stairs up to his room, then fell fowards, and used his arms to pull himself up the rest of the way.

It was pretty sad. and awesome.

Kevin, I'm on your computer to see if my booked plane tickets have been confirmed. They have been. I'll also need to use your computer again (if mine is not back fromt he shop) within 72 hours of the 29th.

Since I'm here...

I've been reading lots since my computer is down, and that's about it. Footbag hasn't been so swell these days, though my last two sessions looked very promising. It's been crappy weather too, which has made me feeling tired whenever I'm not working, which isn't helping the footbag situation at all.

Umm... what else. I need to footbag more to get my groove back for Hackrifice! Woo! Birthday party for this guy with the cool cats from Winnipeg 8) !

- Ripwalk Rev. Swirl bs
- Weakside Fury
- Sumo > Tripwalk x 2
- 4 contacts of Rubberman 2 bs
- PS Egg > Dimwalk x 2
- Sumo > Reactor > PS Egg first attempt :)
- PS Egg > Fusion
- Symple Rev. Swirl x 10
- PS Whirl > PS Egg

That's about all I can remember. Pdx Whirls SUCK for me. One day I hit 25 consec on command, the next I can't get more than 12. WTF.

Hackrifice is just around the corner, and just int he nick of time my game is looking like it's coming out of the gutter. Some good sessions.

- Nuke Torque
- Gyro Rev. Swirl bs (not symple)
- Rubberman with Bedwetters > Rubberman with Fogs
- 32 contacts of pixie shuffle
- Haze > Butterfly > Fog > Butterfly x 2
- Haze > Legbeater x 2
- 3 PS Eggs in a string (2 strong, 1 weak)

Just overall I'm starting to feel strong again. Rubberman with PS Eggs and Rubberman 2 are two goals that I wish to hit during Hackrifice. Oh, that and to be able to party hard for my twentieth birthday on Saturday and still be able to shred the next day - that's another one as well.

Everything about last weekend (excluding the hangover) was great! Despite the low turn-out for Hackrifice, it was still so much fun. Andrew proved to be a great host, and Joel... well let's just say that our first conversation int he car from the airport was hilarious and Joel's experiences only added to it. Everyone there was great (except for the strange guy with nunchucks).

I played really well the both Friday night and Saturday. Unfrotunately not so weel during the competition, but that don't phase me! It's all a big learning experience that is helping me out for Worlds next year :).

- Gyro Symp Rev. Up
- Flurricane for Andrew :)
- Swivel > Symple Rev. Swirl x 2
- Swivel x 3 off the foot
- Rev. Swirl x 23
- Sumo > Legbeater x 2 > Sumo > Tripwalk (hit that second drill later in the day first attempt)
- Rubberman with Beds and Fogs seperately
- lots and lots of good runs

All in all, it was fantastic and I couldn't have asked for a better birthday. Cheers to everyone who helped to make last weekend so great!

PS - Witnessed Derek hitting Zulu Pdx Torque bsos 8O .

Got to go to the insurance place and pay for my car insurance, then it's off to the gym to work on my abdominals and then footbag afterwards.

Stoked!

I don't know what I will work on...

PS - Have been thinking about SJFF these days. I want to go, but I'd need somebody to drive me everywhere and put up with me for two (maybe three) nights.

I'm sick and tired of being unwell and fatigued. I got to get over this cold and start getting more than 6 hours of sleep a night :/.

Footbag hasn't been too great these days, but I'm pumped for the YMCA session this evening. Nolan and I are going to play some squash beforehand, which I'm really starting to get into - I think I may even purchase a racket!

Rory and I had a good session tonight. Some highlights from then and from the YMCA sesh:

- Far Rev. Swirl x 4
- Far Rev. Swirl > Gyro Rev. Swirl > Far Rev. Swirl bs
- Butterfly Rev. Swirl > Sidewalk x 2
- Far Rev. Swirl > Pdx Drifter x 2
- Pdx Whirl > Whirl > Pdx Whirl > Whirl > Pdx Whirl > Whirl > Spinning Whirl > Whirl > Pdx Whirl > Whirl > Spinning Whirl
- Zulu Osis > Diving Osis x 2
- Lots of ducking, diving, weaving, zulu and shuffle drills
- Sumo > Fusion > Nuke set
- Far Rev. Swirl > Spinning Clipper > Far Rev. Swirl > Double Spinning Clipper

Rory:

- Pdx Drifter > Drifter x 2
- Whirl War 1
- Phoenix > Blur x 2
- Toe Spinning Toe > Inspinning Toe x 2
- Assassin > Toe Blur > Assassin
- Toe Whirl > Blur x 2
- Toe Whirl > Drifter > DLO x 2
- Toe Drifter > Whirl > DLO x 2
- Smoke > stepping trick for the first time bsos
- atleast a 30 heavily genuine contact string

I also went to the computer shop to see the status of my computer. Apperantly they had to ship it all the way out to the USA back to the manufacturer due to a phucked up motherboard. It's under warranty and they don't know what happened to it, so I'm getting a new one. Woo to free replacements, boo to more waiting time!

Good sesh at the YMCA this evening.

- Symp Tapping Symp Whirl
- Mindbender bs
- Far Rev. Swirl > Rev. Swirl x 4
- Lots of Whirl themed runs
- Symp Whirl > Pdx Drifter > Pdx Eggbeater midstring
- Far Rev. Swirl > Vortex x 2 > run
- Far Rev. Swirl > Gyro Osis > Far Rev. Swirl > Spinning Osis bs (6 contacts so far, hope to repeat it soon)
- around 30 contacts of only ducking, diving, weaving and zulu clippers
- 10 fearless

My knees are feeling sore right now, despite having a good stretch after the session. :(

I need to get back into drilling my downtime components for Seattle (Drifters, DLOs, Dynos and Eggbeaters mainly), then work on more fearless stuff. Then there is the competition stuff... so much to do and only a month to do it. :?

I also hit Montage before I hit Maelstrom. I must be weird  .

I haven't been sleeping very well due to work and studio useage time. This should be a great paycheque but man, I need my sleep. I feel as though my body has been ravaged through footbag and weight lifting :/. Tonight I get to wake an hour later, but on Saturday I have to work at 6 am. Fun fucking stuff :(.

Some footbag stuff that comes to mind...

- Alpine Pixie Torque bs
- Assassin > Alpine PLO x 2
- Assassin > Phoenix > Blur > Assassin > Phoenix > Ripwalk > run
- Alpine Pixie Whirl > Blur x 2
- Far Rev. Swirl > Gyro Osis > Far Rev. Swirl > Spinning Osis x 2
- Ducking Butterfly x 14
- Pdx Whirl > Symp Whirl x 2
- Drifter > Whirl > Drifter > Whirl > Pdx Whirl > Pdx Drifter > Pdx Whirl > Pdx Drifter > Pdx Whirl > Whirl > Pdx Whirl > Whirl > Drifter > Pdx Drifter > Drifter > Pdx Drifter

Last night I went over my Shred 30, and it needs work. Couldn't get through it but would always drop on the 20 - 24th trick. Also hit my Sick 3 twice, with about twenty attempts inbetween. That also needs work. I don't know when my next session will be on - maybe Saturday late afternoon or early evening. If not then, than definately on Sunday.

So I went out last night, looking good with my new Hackrifice shirt. The roads were soooo bad. It was, like, raining and snowing and freezing and everybody was all over the place. Visibility was low, and tempers were high! Anywho, so I'm at this karaoke bar and 3 women were googling over me. One of them offered me to stay at her house ("thanks but no thanks" tis how I responded), another kept coressing my arm and hair while we were arm wrestling and kept telling me I was gorgeous ("Thanks, I'm very flattered" I say) and the third one kept eyeing me up like a fresh slice of maple sausage (I didn't say too much and just drank my beer uncomfortably - at the end of a strange conversation she said that I bore a high resemblance of an ex-boyfriend she had when she was 18. "And is that a compliment?" I ask, laughing. "That's a big compliment" she responds, then eyes me up as though I was on sale).

Then two of those women got into fights (but not with each other...), the other (the one who offered the "floor space" ;);), upon my departure) told me "I hope you find your one" :? (thank you?). Oh, and the two women who got into a fight also were trying to start something with a friend of mine. Was it all over me? I don't know, and I hope to God that it wasn't.

So yes, another interesting evening to end a very long 11 hour day at work.

Today I awoke feeling fresh so Rory and I had a sesh at the YMCA. It was good, I worked on the final 2/3 of my Shred 30 a lot and also hit my Sick 3, like, 10 times with a high success rate. Shred was good too, though I definitely want to have a drilling session or two before Seattle just to get some kinks out.

- Matador and Sumo bsos
- Matador > Barfry > Matador
- Rubberman 2
- Diving > Ducking > Diving > Ducking > Weaving > Zulu > Weaving > Zulu > Diving > Zulu > Diving > Zulu > Weaving > Ducking > Weaving > Ducking > Diving > Weaving > Zulu > Diving > Weaving > Zulu > Weaving > Diving > Ducking > Weaving > Diving > Ducking (Clippers)
- Rev. Swirl > Diving > Rev. Swirl > Ducking x 2
- Barroque > Ripwalk
- Void > Diving Clipper (bs) > Void
- 10ish contacts of foot juggling on left foot > 10ish on right > 10ish back on left

But yes. More drilling. Hopefully my legs will feel good for it tomorrow since Tuesday we're having a haunted house thing happenin in our condo and I'm helping them out.

special props for rubberman II and that long ducking / diving string! I also do a LOT of duck / dives whenever I play and I like throwing in a couple of ducking / diving toe dexes in there to throw people off. Things like ducking clipper > diving legover > diving osis etc..

If you're looking to make your unique duck / dive runs longer it's a good way to look.

oh and props for barroque > ripwalk too

Thank Max. I actually hit that combo my next session after I read about it, and it felt pretty good. The only thing is that my toe diving is pretty off :/.

So sessions haven't been going too well these days. I've just been feeling tired and low on energy whenever I get the chance to kick. Friday was all good, but playing 15 minutes of basketball on Wednesday definitely screwed my knees up again. Friday I was able to play for about an hour before they were bothering me, then I tried my Sick 3 and totally messed them up. After Seattle is over I'm going to take a few weeks off to let them recuperate and do a lot of strength training in my legs.

A few highlights from yesterday's sesh before the ole knees gave out:

- Tomahawk > Stepping ss Whirl x 2
- weakside Scorpion's Tail x 3 :D
- Pdx Drifter > Vortex > Pdx Drifter > Vortex bs
- Void > Diving Clipper x 2

In small world occurances, I met my ex-gf from 6 years ago and her friend last night at Red Robins. Also turns out that Kevin knows her friend from college. It was a strange, pleasant surprise to see her there since I've seen her twice in about the two years since she graduated.

Now tonight I'm going to a house party with a guy that Kevin and I met at the YMCA. Apparently there is one super hot chick who will be there who is only 15. We'll see how that goes and I'll more than likely post the outcome of that tale in here afterwards.
