Yeah we do. They get about 1-2% of the vote. I voted for Ralph Nader in 2000 who was the Green Party candidate running for President.RawSko wrote:this is bullshit. ...and it's unrelated for me to discus it right now. Yes but it's kind of like the majority of independents: you're just tossing your vote in the garbage.RawSko wrote:...Vote Green Party!! Do you have that in the states?
And to those who were saying that voting Democrat simply because you dislike Bush/Republicans is IMO a very valid reason for voting Democrat and it is what I did this year. Bush sickens me and part of that is because with an entirely Republican House/Senate/Supreme Court he has had FAR too much leniency to do what he pleases. Knowing that with a Democrat controlled House/Senate his issues will actually be dabated instead of thoughtlessly pushed into our lawbooks makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. Disagree if you wish but that's how I feel.
That opinion is also fairly easy for me to keep as Baldacci (D-ME) isn't too bad a guy dispite his Dirigo health plan *shudder* and I agree with his positions on most things.
