Santa Cruz Footbag: 7 mins. freestyle, 2 mins. net
Jonathan Schneider came to visit/kick with us in Santa Cruz this weekend, so I did some filming. Also some net footage from last week/today. Enjoy.

I always loved watching Jon play. Those bag-roll tricks were pretty sweet. Were those tootsie rolls or not? And props to Emily. You seem like you are playing a lot better than the last video I saw of you. A lot more consistant and stuff. That was vague. I'm tired, but I mean well. Haha.

Nice work Fletcher thanks for filming all that stuff and putting it together. It was fun to watch. All three of the sessions we had this weekend were a lot of fun. It's cool I remember hitting a bunch of those strings/tricks and thinking they felt good so it's nice to have them on video and see what they actually looked like

1. there was awesome shred from everyone!
2. along with freestyle there was some awesome net
3. its the most shred i have seen from emily EVER, and ive been to 2 tourneys where she was there, and i never saw here hit any of those PROPS!
4. dustin is looking good! hes getting good very rapidly!
props on the video i like it alot!

Fletcher, you look like you're improving! You are fluid and controlled, that's good. Emily you remind me of former world champion Carol W., but she started later in life so maybe that means you have a bright future in shred. Jeremy you look out of practice at freestyle, but formidable at net! Ever play takraw? I didn't like the first song but I guess that's just oppinion and doesn't matter. Well, good luck.

Fletch,
Thanks for putting out this vid. While it is not totally representative of our current freestyle skill levels, it is a good representation of how and why we play. Personally, I think Dustin is about as good as he played on this video. Jon is probably better than what is on this video. I, while out of practice, am better than what made it to video. Fletch is much better than what is on the video b/c he's shredding with a hurt knee. And contrary to her own belief, Emily is actually better than what this video shows of her.
It was great to see the net footy on there. Nice opening
Watch yourself the next time you step on to a net court Fletch!

The first person I saw do it was Riku (when I saw him do it I think it was the first time he had done it though). We were messing around with it and he called it(there was some other stuff added in but the leg swinging out was the main thing) crazy russian woodcutter for some reason...Dustin is the second person (Bevier is the first) that I have seen swing a leg out before doing a trick.
