Lockpicking
Very fun career...anyone else able to lockpick? Recently I learned to break into my garage and house...My dad hates me now haha.

i used to have a 3 piece kit a locksmith gave me.
i didnt have any keys to my house or anything, so thats how i got in at night.
i also got into my friends house. he didnt have keys either. i was so proud when i picked his door, cause he had a deadbolt and doorknob lock.
but ive lost them now. i wish i had them again. they were so much fun.

if you're going to cornell maybe i'll bring mine. i have been going to school for it since september. i can now:
pick locks
impression keys (more often effective than picking locks which is highly overrated)
service different types of locks
re-key cylinders to different keys
hand-file keys
make keys using 5 different types of key machines
completely dissasemble and reassemble knobsets
stuff like that.
on the first day we got large brand new red stack-on tool boxes, and 1,600 dollars worth of tools, still in package, to fill it with. everything i'll need when i get a job as well. day two we got our lock pick sets. school is from 8:30-12:30 5 days a week for less than a school year with no homework (obviously). also we get free seminars like every week from various manufactorers, especially of high security stuff like medeco and various access control companies. so we also get cool free stuff from the companies like government-level security pad locks that we worked on ourselves, etc. it kicks ass.
oh yeah, and also if i get caught with picks or other tools im all set because i have a picture school ID that says i go to the Locksmith program at North Bennett Street Sch.
