A carpool won't happen, Danny, sorry. If I go I'll be going up with my parents and checking out a college the same weekend. You could look into taking a train if you have any scratch.

no dice for me coming the eaerlier date posted would have worked much better for. I was looking at some time in december and planning my christmas holiday to take it in but that date is too early. Oh well, I will make next year since the plan is to be living in Vancouver then.

It would be great if some people would come to our jam. Caro and I will of course be there. Maybe I can motivate the Victoria guys to come. Anyone else interested, please reply to this topic or email me, blitz (at) flipsider (dot) com; please no PMs.

London, thanks for making this happen. I look forward to discussing how we can make it a blast. I promise at the very least a special screening of never before seen footbag videos (intentionally plural), maybe at my place.

All the best,
E

yeah, so is there a preliminary schedule? i have an exam the night of the 8th, so i probably won't be able to get to v.c. untill the morning of the 9th. is there a party on the night of the 8th or a jam or something because if there is i'll try to make that, other wise i'll just show up the morning of.

edit: will there be competitions or no? i'll help score shred 30's if need be.

I was thinking about making the Chicago event for the new year, but it's just too expensive for me. I *can* afford it, but it's more than I'm willing to spend right now.

As I would like to make an event before 2007, this is probably the most feasable option.

A friend of mine would like to come along with me, so I wanted to ask what crash space looks like right now. If it's an issue, I'm sure we can find a hostel or something.

Looking forward to informations.

Hey all the main part of the jam is going to be the 9 eliot and i thought it be better to have one full day for everyone to show up on then several there may be a casual kick befor or after depending on who is around as for compitations it is up in the air if we decide to hold one it will probally be onthe fly. Just focuse on making it hear for the 9th of december it will be the main and posabbly only event.

as for crash arrangements i am currently living whiterock a distance from thew location of the event i wont be able to have anyone crash hear on account of my parents but if youu would like me to look for hotells or hostels ahead of time and give you some rates maby make a reservation for you for the night e-mail me at l_niro(@)hotmail(.)com

sounds like this is going to be a great jam

can i suggest making it a 2 day event? i know eli had suggested making it a 2 day thing, because for those from out of town 1 day isn't quite worth it. the offer still stands about shred 30 scoring or sick 3 judging if you guys need a hand! also where will the event be taking place?

it should definitely be a 2-day event. When I suggested a 1-day to London, it was under the impression that we would hold a local jam, but since there are several people willing to travel great distances to come here, we really need to make it worth their while. This changes the game plan, but I think we can adapt. Not sure about competitions, because that means more preparations, entry fees, etc., and I'm not yet sure the jam will be big enough to warrant it. Thanks for the suggestions, Andrew, and for offering to help; let's see what happens and we'll be in touch.

***I would like to compile a list of attendees.*** Please email me if you are coming. blitz~at~flipsider~dot~com.

Seattle guys, please let me know after your jam who can make it. I don't think we can get an official host hotel on short notice, and there aren't really any devoted footbaggers in town to put you up. I'm really sorry for this.

I'm going out of town in a couple hours, for a little over a week, and am not sure how technologically connected I will be where I'm going, so I'll work on it with London when I get back, and let you all know as things develop.

Thanks, and hope to see some of you soon!

Yo,
Scott and I are attending. We have 2 maybe 3 spots in our car if anyone else wants to hitch a ride.
Whats up with crash space? Anyone got 2-5 spots open? This is turning into a great winter tournament series.
Yeah!
