Got my Greyhound bus tickets. I'll be going to Ithaca at 3:00pm and hopefully arrive at 7:35pm. Ken is helping me out on the bus to Cornell. Otherwise, I might need a ride there.

Danny Petrick, your bag is ready.

Prize bag is also ready.

Again, not many bags for sale. :(

See you guys soon. :D

edit: I'm a complete spaz.

GENERAL INFO: We know it's very close to the event already, but here are a few more details...

For the use of the excellent room on Friday night, all day Saturday, and much of Sunday, and to cover our costs, we will be charging everyone $4. If you compete in anything (even four square), we will give you a dollar back.

Also, on Saturday we are aiming to hold the circle competition at 1pm, and the four square tournament at around noon.

Waylon: if you are taking the shortline bus, it stops in 'collegetown' after the ithaca bus depot, and this is where you want to get off. From there it's easy to walk to Bartels Hall. If you took greyhound, then you will need to find a ride or get a cab.

Yeah, so you can just walk into the place, and someone (Luis, Ken, or I) will try to come by and collect the money sometime. We'll write down names so we don't try to charge people twice.

Here is some more useful info.

The fraternity is Beta Theta Pi and is located at 100 Ridgewood Rd., Ithaca, NY. If you arrive on Friday before midnight, or on Saturday, you should go to directly to the event site.

The event site is in the Ramin room of Bartels Hall, which is on Campus Road, between Garden Ave and Wing Road. There is more info at http://www.rso.cornell.edu/cjc/festival/locations.htm

ok so this is kind of a long post but its mostly useful information some of it maybe repeating from before,

First i am not expecting anyone to arrive before noon or 1ish but i have class from noon-3pm at which point i should be back at my house so if you get to ithaca between like 3pm-745pm please feel free to come by my house to drop your stuff off, i will be here to let people in and show them around,

Beta Theta Pi
100 Ridgewood Rd.
Ithaca, NY 14850

thats the address incase you want to look up directions,

once again as a reminder, there are about 10 couches spread throughout the house, and then i have cleaned out two rooms, one is carpeted and the other is hardwood floor, which have pretty much no furniture in them so people can just sleep on the floor, im not trying to scare anyone but, i cleaned the best i could but i wouldnt recomend sleeping on the bare floor so if possible bring a sleeping bag/pad or whatever you are comfortable with, a pillow would probably be nice to, i dont really have much extra stuff in terms of bedding so

the weather has been pretty warm the past couple days, but ithaca weather is unpredicatble so come prepared, the house seems to keep comfortbale temperature but it really hasnt gotten cold yet so i dont know, its kinda cold in the mornings

i would suggest that you bring shower sandals, there are showers at the house, but thats up to you i guess

moving on, so 300-745 come by my house after that i am heading to the Ramin Room in Bartels Gym, which is on Campus Road, between Garden Ave and Wing Road. There is more info at http://www.rso.cornell.edu/cjc/festival/locations.htm, i would not suggest parking near there because there is going to be lots of people there for harvard vs cornell hockey which is some kind of big deal but i dont know about that, so parking around there probably wont be that easy to find, and also they like close off some of the roads and redirect traffic, so if you show up to my house we can all head over to the gym together or i can tell you where to park, on campus parking is free after 530pm so if you can hang out with me till then for free parking, be sure to read the parking signs on campus because the will ticket/tow you if you park in a wrong spot.

The ramin room, bartels gym will be open from 8pm-midnight, and there is no fee you can just walk in,

this was all for friday arrivals, so if you get to ithaca on saturday before like 11am i guess you can come by my house, but we will be at the gym by noon for competition so you can get there a little before that and chill

i think saturday night, after the comps we will probably have like a players party back at my house after the show which all footbaggers who come in to ithaca are welcome too attend

its getting late 2am, i cant think of anything else, hopefully thats it, if you arrive to my house please call me to let you in, if you have any questions please feel free to call me or ken

Phone Numbers
Luis - 512-736-6120
Ken - 607-229-2417

hope everyone has a safe trip,
see you soon,

A couple of cars from Rochester should be there friday evening, probably before 8. There's the possibility of a third by saturday.

The soles of my shoes are falling off. I'll be playing in G6 flipflops this weekend.

I guess I can call up a taxi at the station. I would definitely like to hitch a ride with some fellow footbaggers though.

If it's not too late I would like a ticket for the Juggling show.

Also, I have a room if people need a place to crash.

http://www.modified.in/footbag/viewtopi ... 123#281123

That post currently only shows room for 4 but I imagine there is floor space in the hotel. It will cost money to stay with me, however the amount depends on the number of people sharing the room. See the link for more details.

Excited? Yes I am.

We should be able to accomodate everybody for tickets, so nobody worry about that.

As for crash space, there are 10 couches at the fraternity house, and 2 rooms. One room is carpeted, one isn't.

If you haven't already done so, put my phone number and Luis' phone number into your phones NOW.

Ok we are leaving now, Can't wait to see you all we should be at the frat house by 5-6.

Also I think Josh digges wanted a juggling show ticket... I am uncertain at the moment if I want one or not, i'm short on cash. I will by one if there are extras when I am there.

Also, can I call dibs on a couch or something for the weekend? That'd be sick.

Bye all!
