I have a picture that I want shrunken down into avatar size. i have no idea how to do it and can't download new programs onto this computer. if someone with a few spare minutes wants to do it for me, send a pm

If you're using a computer with Windows on it you'll have Paint installed.

So go to Start -> Accessories -> Paint and open your original picture.

Then choose Image -> Strech / Skew (or press control-W)

then you have to toy around with the "stretch" settings. For example to make your picture half the size it was, put 50% in both horizontal and vertical..

Good luck.

Oh yeah, also save in .gif or .jpeg to get smaller sizes.

Mac should have a program that can easily create an avatar.

I mean Mac is the computer for any ,and all art projects right?

Should have it done afterschool....

And I agree, I thought Macs came with stuff to do this...Meh,..Takes two seconds for me to do it anyway...
