Footbag Chess?

Post by Oroza »

Footbag chess, in the tradition of 4 square?

idk what the rules would be, seems like it would be too intricate and slow. i was just thinking of those human size chess courts

You'll have to elaborate on that, I have absolutely no idea what you mean.

think of a giant chess board, 64 square court, with people as the pieces, if it lands in your square your out, but you have to move in chess moves...etc.

any ideas how to make such a thing fun?

I personally like this idea:
game of chess>shred>rpt.

the chessboard idea seems a bit too complicated

play chess. then when someone attacks someone, duel it out in a 2square battle. winner keeps his place or kills the other depending. :) or a best2of3 for the win. i dunno. sounds cool but could be complex.

the 64square would suck becuase some ppl would never see the footbag near them! it's too much. i thnk 4 is the max for a real game. circles can be bigger.

I think there should be 64 squares. And when a pawn wants to off another pawn or piece they have to duel for the spot. And just play it like a real chess game...

Ok, this might sound a bit complicated:
you play a game of chess, when you take a piece you have a 2 square battle to see if you can take the piece, like first to 3 points. for the checkmate the defending player starts on 1 point or something like that.

I'm still in favour of keeping the 2 seperate though, pm me if you want a game of internet chess :)
