Elite Beat Agents for DS

Post by sen »

This game is awesome. If you have a DS, you should pick it up. I've never played any ryhthm games before, but I love EBA! I'm finding out that I have NO ryhthm at all, but even play the same level over and over again and again is fun and addicting in this game.

Check it out!

I preordered it from the US, but it hasn't arrived yet. I've finished Ouendan (the original japanese version of EBA) on the hardest level and I'm a little sceptical on the challenge EBA will give me. I hope the music is as good as on Ouendan, I don't want to spoil the songs for myself before I get it.

It doesn't have wifi, but you can play normal multiplayer.

Single cart multiplayer with up to four people. It rocks. Me and my mom have already spent hours playing. Good times! Sadly, there is no wifi, but it's still tons of fun. The Single Player mode should keep you busy for quite some time, plus being able to play with anyone who has a DS regardless of whether they buy the game.

I'm considering picking up oueden when I'm done this, but I'm not sure. I like the song selection but I know alot of people don't. One great feature added is the ability to skip the intro so you don't have to watch it EVERYTIME you replay a song. I'm not sure whether it will be more challenging. Maybe just more of the same AWESOME difficulty. Some people looking for a challenge have tried to S rank each song they do before moving onto the next. I think that'd be pretty tough!

That's great! Ouendan doesn't have single cart multiplayer, only multicart.

I liked the songs in Ouendan alot, but I've liked asian culture before. That's also a nice feature, the last song of Ouendan has an intro of like half a minute, it's painful. I missed the beginning of the song many times when I wasn't paying attention to the intro :D

S ranking would be a challenge allright, I don't know if I'd be patient enough to play that much though :D More of the same is enough to make me happy, I hope they haven't made it easier for western world gamers.
