I've Been Jammin

Post by beenjammin »

Ive Just decided to break away from the Oklahoma blog. I am just a simple polish boy In a hot humid Oklahoma world. I am 17 years old and I play alot of footbag
I played hack for a couple of months before i saw luis Monhollon play freestyle footbag for the first time In february nearly 2 years ago. Ive only been to one footbag competition which was the Texas statewide jam And i won open routines and open sick 3. I will probably post in here everyday because im on modified and i play footbag every day (except today)

The Reason i am breaking away from the Oklahoma blog is because one blog just isnt enough for all of the Oklahoma players.

Watch out. The Raging Rino has a footblog :x

From Texas Statewides '06:

Iron Clad Ben: "I can't believe I missed you hit bedwetter"
blurryben: "I can't believe I DIDN'T miss hitting bedwetter!!!"

leg cramps, stuck in reverse miattas and crazy shred, oh my!

Great times. If you are ever back in Texas or if I ever go to Oklahoma for some reason, we are shredding again dude :) Next time Luis goes to some big tournament you need to go with him. How about CSS8? I really think you could be a contendah :)

Oh, and I left some challenges for you. Happy Shredding!

Peace,

Iron Clad

Thanks Ashley D.!
Lets see
Today I hit my first barroque in the school bathroom. I hit it several times later that evening too. I discovered that Fairy swirling sets (surfing i think) are really easy for me (on one side). I hit tons of clean barrages (also getting easy). TOns of whirls and dlo's and plenty of shuffle. I also hit little orange because someone challenged me to. I hit Iron clads challenge of spinning ducking butter>blizzard>smog. (i think he said smog i better check). I also drilled everything i could think of from legbeaters to spinning osis, pdx whirls, flails, and etc. Thats all folks!

:( Ben, I'm sorry you broke your collar bone and dislocated your hip, that stuff happens. :( Do you know how long exactly your gonna be not playing footbag? I hope this wont hinder your game too much, and that drilling will be stuck in your muscle memory for a long time so you can still be shredding hard when you come back.

Its true Ben. On saturday I went riding dirtbikes with brother Louis because he got a new bike. After about an hour and a half of blazing around the track I decided to take on a really sketchy dangerous double jump that was obviously too steep for a dirtbike. ONce my back tire left the ramp the steep angle of it kicked my rear tire strait up causing me to flip forward over the bars. The 250 pound ATK 450 i was riding landed right on top of me before I tumbled several times along the ground with my bike.
I actually dont remember hitting the ground or anything for about three hours after that. My injuries include the dislocation of my femoral head from my pelvis. My femur exited out of the back of the pelvis and the bone was resting in my right butt cheek. When the femoral head left my pelvis it also took out a little chip of pelvis bone about a quarter of an inch wide and about a quarter inch long. My left clavicle is broked in half and hurts llike a mother. I walked on crutches yesterday and this morning until I further damaged my clavicle taking my shirt off. I apparently moved in a way i shouldnt have because half of my bone slid out of its place and was sticking up half an inch farther than it was before. i got it back where it belongs though. My knees didnt seem to take much punishment so im glad about that.
Cant wait to ride again. I plan on kicking in less than a month but i wont be shredding for a while im sure. Love, Peace, and chicken grease.
Ill keep you updated

Yeah Ben, I've broken my collar bone before, I know what you mean by putting your shirt on, it was a pain for me to dress myself. Your on crutches?, are you supporting yourself with the broken collarbone arm because when mine was fractured, I couldnt do anything with it.

I was on crutches but they were too painful so now i walk slowly with a cane. When I started this blog I was hoping to fill it with tons of sweeet tricks and drills i hit. I had a pretty good session last night.
My session was comprised of one drill which was
toe flick>op knee bump>ss toe flick>op knee bump>ss toe flick>drop
Yes!
I am polish so a speedy recovery can be expected. I dont know if I will ever shred as hard as i used to but i have the feeling i will.
