Played like crap. No endurance, foot hurt. Highlights:
 Clean Flip Illusions for first time ever :)
 Hit these tricks again: Dimwalk, DLO, Eggbeater, Smear
Flipside pixie nothing doing
Spinning? Couldn't get it working.

Other footbag related schnizznoz:

Appointment with sports medicine doctor Friday to examine foot.

Life stuff:
 Moved in with my girlfriend today. Our new place is tiny, but it's awesome. I'm pumped :)
 Applying to Grad School! Woohoo!

Eh well, gotta go, lots of unpacking to do :D

Plenty of shred this weekend. Things are looking good. Clipper drilling has been paying off.

 DLO and Eggbeater each a few times
 Spinning Clipper :) gotta get my spinning set back
 Dimwalk and Smear a few more times
 Clipper > op Clipper > op Clipper > SS Clipper > op clipper > SS Clipper
 Butter > PDX Mirage > rpt 10 contacts   8)
 Clipper > Mirage > Clipper > Mirage > Clipper > Far Legover > Clipper > Far Legover > Clipper > Pickup > Clipper > Pickup
 Clipper x 3 > Mirage > Clipper x 3 > Mirage > Clipper x3 > Far Legover > Clipper x 3 > drop on last far legover

Oh cool, glad you got it.

Mobile Session Today. Did the whole hit up one spot > pwn it with shred for 10 minutes > catch my breath in transit to the next one > rpt

11/6/06 1.5 hours
Hmmm, felt pretty good today. I hit eggbeater a bunch of times, that is getting easier. My strong illusions are naturally tightening up, which is making it easier to slip in the legover at the end. Clean flip illusions are coming along slowly but surely. Pretty close to flip DLO on a few attempts.

Drillz!
 Legover x 24 (there is like a glass ceiling, I've hit 24 3 times)
 Downtime Pixie x 16 (yeah! :) )
 22 tiltless
 (clipper > mirage) > rpt op side > (clipper x 2 > mirage) > rpt op side > (clipper x3 > mirage) > rpt op side :P :P

Session with the crew

11/8/06 2.5 hours
Felt pretty good. Foot didn't hurt at all. Still shyed away from symposium though. Right clipper spinning didn't hurt. Spinning is one concept that I really don't have a flipside on. Both are different, but roughly equal. Footed spinning butterfly again.

Real highlights:
 Lots of 15+ contact tiltless runs :)
 Eggbeater several times, once in the middle of 20+ contact tiltless run :) :)
 Closer to flip DLO, flip egg pretty soon too?
 Infinities mid-run very easily now. Thank you clipper practice.

Near the end, I had everyone fooling around trying to hit eggbeaters. Cody hit bubbabeater, James hit pdx egg and came quite close to bedwetter.

NOTES! WHAT I NEED TO WORK ON:
 KEEP DRILLING THE LIVING SHIT OUT OF CLIPPERS
 drill alternating clippers. It's like mowing the lawn, it sucks but I gotta do it.
 drill illusions! The move is coming along, drill drill drill make it good!

Concepts to start working on:

 Pdx illusions and bubbas. They need work
 ducking. devote 20 minutes to working on ducking next session
 spinning. devote 20 minutes to working on spinning soon
 drifters. keep attempting them.
 DEXCERISE!!@! YOU BUILT THE FRIGGIN DEXMASTER 1000 USE IT MORE THAN 5 MINUTES A WEEK!!
 pixie, especially flip pixie. work on getting that shit under control.
 Osis. I friggin hate the hell out of this trick. But it must be learned.
 go running. Cardio. Cross train. It will do wonders.

Cross Training baby, Cross Training.

After Sunday's short solo sesh I went running for 20 minutes. Well it was like 15 minutes of actual running and 5 minutes of interspersed walking to catch my breath and walk off abdominal cramps.

Monday went running again. This time for 25 minutes. Of that run 20 minutes was actually running/jogging and 5 were catching my breath. Why do I get ab cramps? My legs don't get cramps. Only my ab muscles. Well it felt good to run. It also felt good to know that my endurance is visibily improving. It was my 3rd time running since I turned 25 a couple weeks ago.

No shin splints. Hooray! Quads were a little sore this morning but now I feel good. I'll give my muscles a rest and just shred tonight. I think I'm going to alternate shredding and running after work each night until I have the stamina to do both.

I've decided I'm going to wait until Black Friday to buy a video camera. Then WATCH OUT. Expect videos from me done to the tune of some awesome songs. I'm going to write them all down so I don't forget when I actually make the videos:

Lions - Movement (Austin band, live version)
Mountain - Immortal
Deep Purple - Lazy
Atomic Bitchwax - Ice Pick Freek, Tough Love, 45, Kiss The Sun
Elvis On Speed - Stacked Deck, Confred Fred (another Austin band)
Clutch - Rising Sun, Pure Rock Fury,

That should keep me busy for a while.

Current "I can taste it" moves:
 Flip Egg
 Flip DLO
 PDX DLO
 PDX Egg
 Little Apple

Current "wish list" moves:
 Spinning PS Mirage
 Spinning Ducking Butter
 Spinning PDX DLO

Hey Ben I have to ask what's a Little Apple? I usually work on Ducking, spinning, and Diving moves on my downtime. So when I feel like thats not going to be a good session I figure that's a good time to work on those. keep up the great work on running also if you have access to a bike or a gym that has a bike I would suggest once a week to ride the bike for 25 minutes at a interval setting at usually they go from 1-30 and I usually set mine at a 20-25 to get a great workout!

Yeah my symp mirages are solid and my gyro mirages are coming along, just a matter of combining the two to get Little Apple :)

Shredded a little bit Tuesday night. Single highlight was:
 Spinning Butterfly BS :) again

I'm starting to like Spinning Butter a lot. Somehow it feels easier than spinning clipper, not sure why. I challenge myself to hit:
 Infinity > Spinning Butter > rpt :)

Shred sesheyoan with the crew tonight. Then Frankenbike this weekend.

Keep shreddin'

Well it was supposed to be our weekly Wednesday night shred. I was the only one who showed up. Probably because it was like 43 degrees out. That's COLD for Texas. But no match for my northern blood :D :x

 Illusion x 3 > Mirage x 3 > Legover x 3 > RPT, that's 18 contacts, son
 Illusion > Mirage > rpt 14 contacts on flipside
 Butter > Spinning Butter > SS Butter BOTH SIZIDES :P
 5 SS Butters on one side, 7 on the other
 Toe Ducking Symposium Mirage BS - new!
 Butter > Gyro Mirage > RPT. YEAH SON!
