IMO there is only one new Next Gen console coming out. Microsoft and Sony didn't really make any improvements on game play....... Nintendo lets you actually swing a sword around or let you fish.

In my apartment we play 360, which is pretty nice - and we'll be getting a Wii when it comes out.

Not taking sides on which system is better.
But! Sony did make improvements in gameplay. One being the wireless controller running on bluetooth and secondly the control being much lighter then its predecessor.

Also I heard but havent tried it, that if you move the ps3 controller sideways or left and right when you are playing that it is supposed to affect the character or whatever that you are controlling.

And Jon, I would bring only one ... and that would be the Wii. I see it being more fun with lots of people. Plus the PS3 would only be good if it's hooked up to a HighDef TV. Otherwise it is worthless.

Also, to play the PS3 on an HD TV (it's main attraction) the HD hookup cable is $100 extra. So good luck with that $700 purchase, plus games. And sony has a history of consoles shitting out for no reason. Definitely avoid it til they fix all the problems. Which will be in about 4 years, if they follow the tracks of the PS2

I hope it wasnt an error but I just bought 11 ps3's from amazon to resell on ebay

edit-If I really get these ps3 before christmas (It seems like a glitch how I got so many off amazon) then Ill buy an hdtv to bring too LOL.

I still think the PS3 shouldn't be considered a "Next Gen" system. Once it changes how you play the game I'll change my opinion
