Ban these people

Post by Splint »

People who threaten to leave Modified because they are disgruntled and claim it is their "last post" and la dee da cliche cliche, should be banned from modified if they turn around within the next couple of days or week or whatever and start flaming for some stupid reason. I think they lack committment and shouldn't be rewarded. They shouldn't be allowed to post for at least 6 months. People who flame on a regular basis have to work really hard at it and have a reputation to uphold. They can no longer be encumbered by those who lack the commitment to flaming that many have worked at for so long.

Maybe I'll compile a list of them or maybe not, but Shredzilla comes to mind.

I agree. And I think we should take it to the next logical step and destroy the Jewish race because they're ultimately responsible.

Hey, why don't you make a vote? We can throw him off the island by a majority.

Sorry for the double post, but while we're at it we should ban Kyle Hewitt, that hitler-youth scum.

Personally, I blame the Japanese.
(Of course I am Jewish so I'm biased)

That explains your need to oppress others. <_<

But seriously, I think the only reason people should be banned is if they break the rules by repeatedly posting highly offensive or illegal content and don't respond to warnings.

It is this that I think there are some 'loopholes' or softness in the actions of the moderating staff. However, users would feel oppressed to not have any sort of bureaucratic system to abide under in keeping the peace of modified (that solutions can be reasonably made aware to the offender(s)). I believe this is a consistent problem that has gone long enough in this community.

Still, I'm sure there are users that would find it "unfair" for people to get banned so easily.
