Advice on compression

I've been working on this project for the last few weeks. These two clips are just a sample, I've got approx 105 individual tricks vids completed so far, and should end up with about 120 all together. What I'm wondering is if this format and compression works for everyone and I should just upload them all like this, or if I should do something else. I know very little about compression and compatibility, so any advise would be much appreciated. I use premiere 7.0 to make them, and the mpeg-1 compression seemed to me to be the best quality for the file size. I also tried wmv's and they gave me nice small file sizes but looked absolutely terrible. Do the mpeg-1 files work for you guys? When I try to view them through footbag.org it says it requires a plug-in, which never installs correctly when I click it. Maybe I'm just doing something wrong...... Help

Those looked great to me. The quality was good, and it didnt take very long to view. also, amadeus looked amazing, dada curves can look so cool if done right. cant wait to see all 120.

I have two suggestions. If you are doing 120 of them, you can save ALOT of size by not having fancy music and titles in every one.

Also, if it's a move demo maybe the clip of amadeus shouldn't have him planting on the gyro? I guess that's just being picky but if it's a video that is supposed to show perfect form it should be just that.

I agree with you Tom that move demos should have perfect form. I described them wrong as move demos. The main purpose of the videos are definitely to entertain, not inform. So they will be more or less like Eli's massive trick section (just less massive). Many of them are not in perfect form, some arent even sealed, but i tried to make sure that none are the. Basically they just showcase a lot of the harder tricks CIC has hit as well as stupid pictures of us and a song to go with the move. Also, all of the footage is old (from 2003 or 2004), I'm just trying to do something with all the old footage i had clogging up my computer

I had to dl the clip. I thought the compression was good. 2Mo for one trick in good video quality is fine by me.

Gripes on the other hand: as mosher said, too bad there's a palnt. Secondly too bad you're filming from that far away. Lastly and most importantly the lighting isn't good (in this clip).
