uhh.. "now anyone can upload it to..flipsider"?? Sora himself could have done it. Just takes an email to me for files that large and I give you the ftp info. Now instead I have to do it myself, which gets old.

Guys, it's a DV-quality clip, which means it is not encoded for the web. it's 40 MB for like 10 seconds. I'll re-encode it for the web and put it in the massive section. Look for it in the next day or two.

ok. it's in the Massive section now. Thanks to Sora for contributing it. I encoded it to QuickTime 7; I hope that's ok for most if not all of you. It's less than 1 MB, and looks much better than the youtube version.

Sam, I'm not sure if you're just being a smart ass, but I don't think I've posted about encoding that much here. I remember re-encoding your 1 GB video, which pissed you off for one reason or another, but other than that...

There are plenty of tutorials out there for any given encoding program, so there's not really any point in me writing one.

oh, but to clarify, I wasn't complaining about having to encode it, but rather that once again I had to go hunt down a video clip to get it on flipsider. I probably shouldn't complain; it's better than not at all. I'm grateful to Sora for making it available in high quality with the intention to put it on flipsider. Thanks, mate. Next time, you can just send me a quick email, and I'll tell you the best way to contribute it.
