i would say (imo) that you would mod them almost exactly like a laver

i.e. cutting out the inside material inside the shoe, and doing the same for the toe

I ended up getting normal g6s because I don't really dig the camo, and I'd rather get a shoe that I have to do a little more work on so I can learn

Honestly, leather g6's probably are easier to shred in that they create a huge hole in the side of your foot from the absence of leather. Same goes for the toes.

I didn't like the camo either, but I went with the mesh because i felt the leather g6's would be too much of a crutch.

But, don't take my word for it.

The feel for the mesh G-units is superbly softer and has much more conformity around your feet. They feel much more comfortable than leather G-units, which has stiffer support. And yeah, the gap on the leathers after modding can be a bit distratcting for people wanting to improve on some variables of their form. I also think the mesh G-units can considerably break-in faster than leather G-units.

The only cons I noticed is that there is a lot more padding to mod out than the leather G6s, and people who want a more secure ankle support should not play in these shoes.

I wouldn't like the idea of my outsides blowing out like the ones on my leather ones did. It would be better to be safe then sorry IMO
