Has anybody heard of anyone that might know someone that bought a zune and likes it ?

I found this great video where the NYT guy comes on to review it, and it turns
into an advertisement for the iPod Shuffle.

that angers me at the end comparing the zune to an ipod shuffle and saying that it's better. being a huge fan of dap's (digital audio players) and belonging to two forums on dap's, i'm a fanataic when it comes to them, ipods are so overrated, they don't have good codec support and they're slow in catching up with the built in radio&recording and a built in mic. the zune is good, but if you want a kickass dap, go with the creative zen vision:m, better than the ipod video and zune, imo

I heard that with the new windows vista coming out and a person having a zune ... that your computer and zune will be checked for illegaly downloaded music and shit
i dont know much about that

but did everyone hear how microsoft fucked up with not making the zune compatible with windows vista ... they have to release a firmware update ... not sure if thats out yet or not.

i think its gonna blow up in their faces... apple already has literally no competition, unless u want an mp3 player w/ a radio built in, which you can already get on a different device (not necessarily microsoft)... even so, everyone's heard of the ipod, i didn't know microsoft was making an mp3 player to combat the ipod, and for everyone who has already bought songs on itunes, ur fvxed and won't be able to keep them... waste of money

don't buy zune

I don't much like the zune (or for the same reasons ipod) in that songs bought from itunes can't be used on the zune and vise cersa. I understand from the corporation's POV why this is necessary but for the consumer especially one who has at some time downloaded illegally (don't give me crap about it I don't care. I'm broke and I still like new music...) or has downloaded legally but from a site that isn't supported your just SOL. It really sucks.
