its actually pretty simple... you have 20 hexes and 12 pents... each pent has 5 hexes surrounding it right? so you take a bunch of thread and stitch in one pent at a time...

my first bag was a 32 but it suxed majorly, so i completely took it apart and re did it.. now its much better

trial and error

Ben, I'm sure Matt Cross and I can be of assistance to you in stitching a 32 panel (since we're the two people I can think of that is closest to your area). Peter Bowler too? He's also a solid stitcher. In fact, you've seen me and Cleaver stitch a 32 at the Cornell Jam.

I can briefly explain to you the process in stitching a 32 (or 12s, which is your current project) online, though it is better to explain and show it to you in person. I think you gathered a handful of what you should do in stitching 32s the last time I saw you.

Anyway, I have a question about this engine. Does the percentage of the shorter hex length reflect on the longer hex length? It's been bugging me for some time now...

The pentagon side length and longer hex side length are given in absolute measurements. The shorter side length is given as a percentage of the longer side; it has no effect on the longer side's length.

It's not working!!! :x What do I do? Is there anyone out there who can fix it? Also, if anyone was like me and saved the pdf, do you have a copy of one with the following dimensions?

Pent: 0.5
Hex Long: 0.65
%: 30

If you do, could you email it to me please? andrewdunford48 at hotmail dot com

I have the following sizes if anyone needs them:

P: 0.6
H: 0.75
%:30

P:0.7
H:0.85
%:30

Sorry about that -- I wasn't paying attention to the amount of space used up. It is back now.

Not working for me again. Using IE, in a library. I will try using firefox when I get home, but I don't have high hopes...

Edit, at home it works. Using firefox...Funny, because it screws up on my internet explorer as well..

Mike is probably still out of town, so it might be a while before he can get it fixed.
