yeah i got into pen twirling a couple days ago. its like crazy hard. i could do some tricks before but i didnt know that it was actually a legit sport kinda thing
yeah i can do some easier moves called sonic normal and 360 degree normal, but it takes like months to be able to do it without fail, and takes even longer to do it without looking. its hard because the pen doesnt go the way you think it would go, it like spins around an axis on your hand or finger, which was hard to learn. i just kinda do it for fun. but to think that they made a sport out of twirling a pen i guess since there are hardcore shredders, theres gotta be at least some hardcore pen twirlers. and its probably popular because 1)everyone's used a pen in their life 2)if somebody sees someone else doing it they can show them easily and tell them to practice and 3)at one point in time somebody's probably twirled a pen between their fingers so its not that hard of a concept
