I'm gonna start, sort of, reviewing a song once a week, idk why, just cause...
Give me your email if you want to get a NICE track once in a while.
There will be some funk, hiphop, jazz, rock, indie, punk, cuban, indian, tango, brazilian, african, french, flamenco, IDM, instrumentals, experimental, drums, oddities....etc
so...yeah

anybody?
its not like I'm gona send you stuff youve probly already heard, no poppy, billboard crap, just the stuff youd never hear unless you dig through all the crappy music out there, those little gems.
I'll try and make it 2 songs 1 shreddable, 1 obscure tidbit of world culture.
I'm just offering cause I'm trying to organize my music library, 100's of gigs plus all stuff I havent copied yet. If less than 10 people want in, screw it.
first up would be:
-N.E.S.T.A. (Never Ever Submit To Authority) - Antibalas Afrobeat Orchestra, 7 mins of hipnotic horns to a groove you can shred to, make love or take a nap, funny how it adapts. In the Fela Kuti tradition. Afrobeat is a mix of all sorts of african decent music - drums circles, reggae, blues, roul, R&b, funk, cuban, jazz, ska, dub. The genre itself is almost synonymous with rebelion and political uprising, despite the tracks name its all intrumental
Boots Groove - The Soul Tornados, another instrumental an obscure funk band from the 60's around the midwest toronado valley. short, killer little groove, easy flowing guitar solo throughoutt making slipping and sliding noises, boioioiong.
________
Next up would be some local Chicago stuff and perhaps something from South America.
