I was just looking at Travis Idens page of footbags, and looked at this picture
and couldn't help noticing the panel that I (lightly) outlined was almost in the shape of a heart. Has any stitcher (I would imagine female) ever made "heart" bags? I mean, think about a gift to give a footbag playing girlfriend for Valentines day or something....

When I used to make bags with large pents and triangle-shaped hexes, I stitched a "heart" pattern onto a bag, usually in two color variations. You just use three pents and three hexes and you have a pseudo-shaped heart right there. It's possible to stitch two hearts on one bag. Though at the time it seemed pretty cool, I could never make the hearts look symmetrical, and my bags were extremely stiff because of the templates sizes and overtight stitches.
I suppose I could try again with my current templates. It wouldn't hurt to try... again.

that one had gone out to al oroza. i put a lot of love and work into it.
footbags that are stitched with only two stitches on the pent create a star out of the pent... this turns the hexes into hearts but you dont really notice the hearts, you notice the stars. ive seen pics of toby's bags like this.
