I just now realized (after a little chat in footbag chat) that no one really cares about competing in footbag. It surprised me - all I really wanted to do was to compete, not really hang out with anybody.

Now I realize that I have it backwards, and should just have fun... I need to stop getting jealous - it pisses me off when I read about people who have been playing for less time than me, but can do the exact same shit I can do, but on both sides.

I PROMISE, I'm going to go back to basics and really work my flip.

Gah, this is going to take forever.

I dont like your attitude zac. I play to compete, and have fun doing it. I figure if your gonna do something, you might as well be better than everybody else at it.

many people play simply to have fun and socialise, I think it's better if you can have fun without competition because enjoying footbag is not about other peoples skill levels that way, but rather just enjoying the game for what it is.

Thanks for all the posts guys, it means a lot.

I made a conscious effort to use my flip today, and almost hit flip PLO midstring.

That felt really good.

Spinning felt better today, I don't think I've ever told you guys I'm horrible at spinning.

Also, almost got muted pixie swirl and pixie ss swirl. (Didn't get them, but was close)

Halfway decent chance at flip PLO.

It felt almost like a real pixie, I promise.

Haven't played in a while.

I'm getting a new video camera for christmas. I'll make quite a few videos, promise.

Short session, nothing too new except for:

Toe set symple swirl (not ss)
And I footed the torque on dimwalk>sidewalk>torque.

He is just now going to get christmas presents. I told him quite a few times that I wanted money for my trip to worlds, but he apparently can't get it through his head.
