Most Consecutives?

Post by Danno »

I was just wondering how many consecutive kicks everybody's gotten. I was proud of breaking the record in my neighborhood today with 250. How many has everybody else gotten?

Um, I wouldn't say 250 is pitiful, my record is barely above it at all, mine is like 278 I think...Mikes is near a 1000, Mabey I'm pitiful

you ever seen consecs in a comp? The current five-minute consecs record is a little over 1200 in five minutes. That is crazy.

I did 255 about a week ago. I could beat it, but i don't care. It's just consecutives. Everyone was like Wow 255, but to me, that's nothing compared to a good move (which noone would care about)

Yeah, I casually did consec for a while, but I wasn't like REALLY good at it, I found out about freestyle and imidiatly jumped right into that.

i used to do consecutives a lot. basically until i could shred guiltless. i won at our tournament the year before last (or was it last year?). i got 1140. i stopped and did some two adds at around 1000. then kept kicking. i dont do it fast though. took about 15 minutes. or something. some guy had come in when i started and he was just sitting somewhere nearby and he was like, "that guy was kicking when i came in, 10 minutes ago, and he's still going!"

when i was younger my mom would give me a freezy for every 1000 jumps on my pogo stick! :)

Maybe I'm pitiful. I just got 50 a week ago, and before that I could only get 26.

right... I was playing with Seafly, who has competed in consecs against the current consec champ, and he says the whole knee > toe repeat thing he does to get 1200+ in five minutes is really lame and they can't hardly tell from the video whether he's really making multiple contacts the whole time because its hard to see whether its actually leaving his knee... something like that...

Anywho... ditto Jonathan, I don't do consecs much, I still drill basic kicks to keep up coordination once in awhile before a session, but never really tried to break my record of 150.

i want to play... i hate my back. lol I've already taken so many pills I can barely feel my fingers push the keys, yet my back still feels like someone's twisting a knife around in there... it sux. i want to play.

holy crap... when I thought my 250 was good, I was wrong. The first time I tried consecutives with my LAVERS (today), I got 560! geeze... that's more than double the 250. But I do enjoy landing "good" tricks even more. I got 5 flying clippers in a row today and was proud of that. I even learned how to do that kicking drill on flipsider (right in, left in, right toe, left toe, right out, left out, and then repeating it). But everyone was more amazed by my 560... oh well, hopefully they'll understand how much more difficult freestyling is

A couple of alternating jesters midrun is easy and awesome. First time I saw that was in January, and I've been skooling it ever since.
