I started stitching a week ago. Here are some of my bags.

My very first bag and first 32 pannel.

My second 32 pannel.

My third 32 pannel.

My fourth 32 pannel.

My fifth bag 1st 12 pannel.

My fifth 32 pannel.

To johnl583: The red/brown bag looks very nice. Makes me want to try that colour pattern.

To OCconfidential: looking good. However, after looking at the bags in those pictures, i think my comments in the "Polishing up my stitching.." topic were accurate.

Here's a bag i finished a few days a ago:

It's a slightly different way of stitching that Iâ€™m really excited about. It's stitched so that the seams don't require any break in (The fabric still softens over time).

Thanks. There is a surprising amount of tweaks and changes that you can do to the seams to make them behave differently. These changes also tend to have an effect on bag appearance, though that's not the goal. I've just been trying stuff, seeing what happens and learning from it.

Nice bag Cod. Your stitching seems to have improved a lot recently.

Yeah Cod. At first I thought your high gather would affect the break-in process, but how it looks afterwards is pretty good. The seams even out afterwards, and the pents look very puffy but not restrictive. I like.

And great bag as always, Toby. It's hard to make a bag with the 2:3 stitch method for pents/hexes look good imo. I mean, it's already relevant that the performance resulting from this stitching method is there, of course, but it's easy to mess up the consistency if you don't watch your stitching.

If i understand you rightly, I'm doing a couple of things more than that. My holes are paired off, and i've allowed most of the gathered folds to break free. But you are right: if i place a stitch 0.5mm off, it messes up the appearance of the bag, and the behavior of that seam a lot more than any other bag style i have made.

My 3 most recent bags. I like the blue and red one best. The green and blue i just finished, but the seam of the blindstitch is a bit effed up.

Ian, your bags are better and better. But try not to take photos from hand and please use a macro.

I've just finished working on the new Dorshbag. I sewed few months ago almost the same bag (pattern, size, colours, etc.) but this one is 10 times better! And I have a new breaking-in technique, so that the bag is ready to shred 1 hour after finishing it! I also invented a new technique to keep my pents even! Iha! Here are photos:
