Field's Fabrics

Post by Mitcher »

Hey was gonna order some fabric off of Field's and was wondering if you guys ever order the stuff on special. They have some aqua on there right now but it says it is Krinkle/Laundered what the hell does that mean and is it still good to make footbags out of. Also i am correct that it is 3 dollars to ship inside the US, the free shipping is for small pieces of fabric?
thanks

aqua is a crappy fabric anyhow, if you do order that they'll probably call you up the day your fabric should have gotten to you asking "if you're sure". Whenever I order from them there always seems to be a confusion to some random detail of the order and they end up calling and it takes like a week too long to get the fabric.

fields is gonna be your only good bet unless you have a store around you that sells ultrasuede light.

i like fields. theyve never given me a problem and they have gotten to know my orders so well that they put stickers on the fronts of them so i dont make my bags with inside out panels.

Field's Fabric and Denver Fabrics are the only two notable online fabric stores that sell ultrasuede light at retail imo. I do most of my business with Field's, and have made great business there.

DO NOT BUY AQUA. That stuff tears apart like no tomorrow. If you want a suitable turquoise, go for Splash Blue.

And the Specials are great. Dark Jade, Willow, and Storm are choice colors.

The good side is lighter color than the bad side, and if you move ur finger across the good side, then the fabric will turn lighter or darker.

I disagree. they look nice, but they don't usually make good bags.

I can agree about Storm and Dark Jade. Storm pills like crazy and Dark Jade is very supple and stretchy. I haven't found anything wrong about Willow, though.
