Fun sesh with Kam today. The ride over was a bit cold. We kicked at night in the hockey court with people playing in it. They almost ran into us.
Lots of energy.
2x pdx torque BS

Yesterday I hit blurry whirl>blurry whirl again. Zeke freestyled a bit. Was happy. That dude Petey came from Schurz too. Hope he comes more often.

After today's sesion Kamil and I were putting stuff in his trunk when I glanced over and saw a girl sitting the wrong way in a car and slowly moving up and down. SEX! Yep you guessed it. Thhhhheeeey're greeeeaaat! Sex is.

Byahh!!!

I hit strong side ripwalk on Tuesday, 3 tries in pants and unmodded guints!

Prolly looked REALLY ugly, but i sealed it.

Edit: Ill call it my flip side cause it feels harder to hit.

Kicked with Kam again on Tuesday. Nice energetic session. Some skateboarders were jumping over things too in the same floor hockey court. It was supposedly cold, but we broke a sweat. No wind so all good. 2 shirts. I got erally close to mullet. footed several times.

Thursday:
Zeke's birthday. We kicked at Lane. Very very cold. 3 shirts, sweater and coat. so weird, just half a week ago we were playing with no shirts on, and it snowed a little today. and next week it's gonna be 60 degrees. friggin chicago. Had a nice long game of 4 square. Actually only 1 game - teams. Zeke and whitey, Kamil, and I and Laz and Kudo had game point after forever. Zeke and whitey won. Freestyle for 20 minutes after. hit Mullet for first time. Kamil didn't see.

That's right :)

some handstands at park

Kicked today at night in my alley for bout an hour - whirly sesh:

3 gyro blenders! right leg. no seal.
10 gyro whirls BS - right leg is much better. Flip got better with straighter set and quicker spin.
3 gyro illusions - got idea from tryin gyro eggbeater. this is a stepping stone and a cool move. Relatively easy. I don't see people do this move really.
pixie double switch over! first time in shoes! from left toe. almost other side too, but heeled myself in the jewels 2x so i said fuck it.
whirlygig. almost flip! flip ps whirl again after a little while.
GOOD attempts at other side spinning clipper, but no hit.
Some attempts at non-atomicish flux but no dice no dex whatsoever.

Gathering freestylers is not easy. Trust me on this. I'm not trying to discourage you, rather, trying to prepare you for the many excuses you'll hear, the e-mails ignored, the people that show up late or not at all, the assholes you may encounter (footbaggers are people afterall), the last minute changes of location you may need to inform a dozen people of, lost people needing directions and so on and so on...

I'd be bullshitting you if I told you that years of that did not take it's toll on me.

I forgot to mention my dream last week. John Mahood was moving on the walls of a room. He started teaching me how to do it. Sit with one leg under you (indian style) and the other in front of you foot flat on floor and knee bent. Then slowly move along the walls!

27NOV2006 420PM-620PM - My alley
20 ducking clippers BS (40) warmup
2 drifter>spinning clipper>drifter spinning clipper BS
2 drifter>gyro mirage>all in one pixie legover BS
1 gyro illusion>eggbeater (from lft clp no plant for gyro)
1 bubbawalk GS. practice on flip set - no dice.

The combos were mostly the session. 3 of them. Took me 2 hours. they all involved spins. I started sucking at the end of the sesh maybe cuz i was tired or maybe too much spins. i think the former; the spins didn't really bother me.

Happy I finally played. It was sooo nice out. Like 50-60 degrees. And it's almost december. I think thursday is the last day of this craziness. it's raining today though, so can't enjoy the warmth. it might even snow tomorrow. Which means - Sledding!

30NOV2006

4DEC2006 - Kamil's basement - 1.5h shred, .5h square

We warmed up for a while. I warmed up kicks, then clips, then osis, then atw, then pixie moves, etc. Kept changing components. Varied it up a lot. DOD's. Not many spins. Worked atomic. I think the warmup helps alot. Stretching too. We both played pretty well today.

I tried a bunch of times and though I should be getting it, then set a lil lower and hit:RIPTIDE fr rt ft clp. Hit again later to confirm.

I hit this cool combo: swirl>clipper>2x swirl>clipper>3x swirl>clipper>4x swirl.

Hit 2 REALLY good flurriests.
Hit 2 REALLY good bubbawalks.

After footing about 3 times, I hit my 3rd dream move - FURYfr lft ft clp. Sealed. I tried again and footed a few times, but no dice. 3 footeds were pretty good.

Kamil was ugly close to ripwal again. I think he has a mental block.
We played 2 square for a while after. Some good practice and fun. Apple Juice and clementines after while watching Whirled Shred.

That's 50 BS Mirko. That means 100 teezorques. A full benjamin's worth. :)

Played squares at Lane with Zeke and Lane people.
http://www.modified.in/footbag/viewtopi ... 657#287657
I won the 3 main games, but not because of anything. Not enough action today. Too many people maybe. My legs got stiff.

I saw my calculus teacher there. We were playing right next to the parking lot and he was heading home. I said, "Hi Mr. Nishimura I had you for calculus eight years ago!" He came over and I told him not to worry about remembering me since it was so long ago, and he said he remembered me, which I believed slightly. Though I saw him 4 years ago and he said the same thing kinda. It was nice to see him. I told him that i graduated top of my engineering class @ UIC and he seemed pleased. When i get rich I might donate the million he requested all that time ago.

After chilling at Zeke's, I came home and was going to go to sleep, but decided to freestyle. I'm hardcore that's why.

14DEC2006 My basement, 1hr
I wanted to play out of moves. Like Mirko says. You need to practice a move so you can play out of it, and that's when you've got it. i did hit ripwalk out of torque last time once, but i reversed it this time, to make it easier and practice torques and other stuff without wasting time.

10 ripwalk>torque BS
10 atom smasher>smear BS
10 pixie same clip>>torque BS
05 atom smasher>eggbeater BS
2x 20 pushups
