Anything that stops blood going to your head runs the risk of giving you brain damage or killing you. I would advise that people don't follow this advice, and try to remain conscious except when sleeping.Switch Kicker wrote: As for what I truely think happens when you die... Have you ever passed out? If not, (I don't know if this is dangerous or not, but we did it all the time for entertainment in Basic Training... so yea.) lean over onto your knees a bit, breath deeply, and rapidly for about thirty seconds. Then quickly stand straight up, and have a trusted friend push his hands up on your arteries in your neck. The fast breathing raises you heart rate, which speeds up how fast the blood moves through your body. By blocking the arteries, the blood will drain from your head in about 2 seconds. Basically, it makes you pass out for 15-30 seconds.
Fear of death.

Ptch, of course. I can't count how many times my life has flashed before my eyes (Blocking the view of the bag so I drop it...) while shredding. Very dangerous shit.HG wrote:I embrace death at every step in life. Thats why i footbag. What other sport can i do where i risk death literally every second i play?
I recommend everyone have a emergency medical team standing by like at race ways.

I normally don't agree with switch, but, seriously every second you play footbag you risk death? Come on. OOh i did an ATW daaaangerous. Ill give it up for the crazy ass tricks, those are something you can brake a bone on. Or maybe youll get dizzy and crack your head. But thats like anything else in this world man.
Theres way more dangerous sports if you really wanna embrace some death. Swim to the bottom of the ocean til you almost lose conciousness, do some flips on a dirtbike, box, parkour, diving, much more death defying than footbag bro. you have a better chance dying in football than in footbag man. I have NEVER heard of anyone dying from footbag, but I have from many other sports, you may say its because there isnt as much of us but seriously? Not all of us are even profressional and no deaths.

Yup, completely derailed because I provided a word that maybe he didn't or couldn't think of. Won't try to help again. And it wasn't to be a smart ass either.
And I wasn't making fun of so and so's sarcastic post about footbag being dangerous, I was sarcasticly adding more to the joke.
Yes... Completely derailed isn't it. It didn't actually get derailed, Matt, untill you made that post.

Delta Company of the 2-135 MN "Red Bulls", trained in Foxtrot Company 219 INF "Punishers" at Fort Benning GA. (Sorry, don't remember which battalion I trained in at Benning, but the battalion's code name was "Sand Hill." Basically, everyone in INF goes to Sand Hill, and if there's too many recruits they go elsewhere inside of Fort Benning.
Why?
Why?

I thought he meant like.... internet flaming battalions.. I thought it was hilarious... I still do, even though I'm wrong. YAY!
but .. back on topic.
I was sick yesterday and my friend had an emergency and I helped him out, therefor not getting any sleep and when I came home I started spitting up fluid and coughing the worst I ever have in my life. I thought I might die it was that bad and I couldn't breathe. I don't think I was worried about the actual death so much (although that might be a lie) but I didn't want to go out that slow and painful way. Breathing is your friend
It was worth helping my friends new family though.
Welcome to the world Isiah Michael Guevarra. I'm sure this dude is a future footbagger and musician.. Maybe he'll be the first to really take breakbag to the next level, or whatever its called.
Happy Holidays.

I was once suffering from depression, and as a repercussion of the disorder I was awake for about 14 days straight (NO DRUGS). I don't do drugs. Anyway, after about the fifth day of being awake, I thought I was dying. I experienced blind fear. Stupifying fear. I couldn't think, all I could say was that I'm dying over and over again. It was a fucked up time. Now I'm quite messe up becuae of it. Everytime i lose a night of sleep, I go into shock. I don't believe that I'm dying, but I become very fearful of falling into that mind set. I become too stupid to learn anything in class, or to do homework. Life sucks and then you die. heh
