At Hackrifice this year we did "exhibition" routines. Pretty much we just got in front of a crowd and had a chance to practise our routine. No judging (it wasn't really an option) or scoring involved. It was a positive experience.

I was thinking about that... maybe have a few players demo their routine in between events to keep any spectators watching while the next event gets ready.
earlier I wrote:I'd also like to form a 3-4 person all-volunteer set up crew. We will help set up and dismantle the site at the beggining and end of every day and do other various grunt work that may arise. Some heavy lifting may be involved. We will need to show up just before the event starts every day. We'll start cleaning up about 20-30 minutes before the event ends.

some expected responsibilities:
--set up/put away sound system
--put up banners
--set up/put away chairs for spectators
--clean up garbage at the end of the day
--completely dismantle the site the last day which is basically a much more thorough job of what's listed above. In addition we may have to have to stack up all the tables and take apart the fence surrounding the site

PM me.
Zeke

I will be arriving on US airways flight 228 at 5:30 AM on the 28th. I can be picked up at any time if other people are arriving later or i can try and get myself there by cab/bus/?

I'm definitely willing to set up and take down all the stuff everyday if you still need volunteers.

Theoretically, if I were to get into Chicago as early as the 26th at 3:00pm, who might be available to hang out with me and shelter me until the tournament starts?

Come to my house. Zeke and I will probably both still be working when you get in, but if you don't mind killing a few hours, I'll pick you up after i get off.

The Classic FootFighter will be 27$ each.
The Sonic FootFighter will be 28$ each.

I will also have a lot of kool Kolo Sport shirts for sale plus some good prizes for the event.
