If the same people who put out helpful information here on modified were to take what they've said and rephrase it in a reference format, it would be a huge help. If you have something you want put up, but don't want to waste your time formatting, let me know, and I'll do it.

Yeah I think it's a good idea to have set up a wiki. It will probably take some time for a solid user (/editor) base to set itself up though but I think that this reference was truely needed.

Totally. I would say this will be one of the most significant things to happen to footbag for a long long time if people get on board. I'm going to spend a day this week writing articles. I learnt wiki like 6 months ago in preperation for this. I hope people realise the potential of this.

I for one am pretty psyched to see this. I just hope the footbag.org servers have the bandwidth to manage this thing, as it seems to move pretty slowly.

Two major things we need on here are:

a living freestyle move list with descritions, add counts and links to videos

a jargon/acronym definition list

Hopefully the wiki won't be the target of any deletion/defacement attacks.

I felt this topic warranted it, since I've been cheerleading Steve on this project from the beginning, and I'm super stoked to see it go live.

Considering the information people post at modified, here is a very easy chance of helping footbag and trying get all the information into the one place. It really is very easy to do and it would be fantastic if a few people from this forum who think they know what they're talking about could put in a little effort to start adding information to the reference section.

I've been on call for work this weekend, which basically means sitting in my living room at my laptop working on various crap. There is a lot of down time so I've been fairly active on the reference section, adding some stuff here and there like a Jargon/Acronyms dictionary and cleaning up some of the other stuff. There is absolutely NO footbag 4 square section yet, which I find odd since Steve spearheaded this development, so if anyone wants to get cracking on that GO FOR IT (Sammy C?)

Everyone please take some time to learn how to edit Wikies, there is so much scattered footbag information out there that will be so awesome if we can centralize and index it all.

Here is the editing tutorial from Wikipedia. The footbag.org reference section runs off the exact same software:

drew the images for a school project but in this wiki they make more sense.
