However, the discussion is whether this break-in technique is ideal or not, and I think it's a good possibility for those who don't want to spend too much time breaking in a bag. I've had my fair share of bags that took me awhile to break-in, bags stitched by me included, and it's no wonder that there are a variety of methods in breaking in a bag.

Baby oil, olive oil, shampoo, freezing them, etc. You name it, it's been done. Some tried and true, some warranted for furthe experimentation, and some that isn't really fathomable. (Microwave?)

Granted, I have crafted some ways to break-in bags, but I believe the best way to break them in is by finger rolling them as Mosher and Mirken noted on past videos, and kicking the shit out of them to make them choice. Bags will expand in time, it's just that the rate in which the colors and the stitchwork that supplement the bag don't fit into what we see as ideal. Like it was said before, Cod is only expanding on a way to breaking bags in further, so that's about it.

But yeah, I think when a bag is totally 'choice' is when it's nearly falling apart (fabric wearing thin, expanded, stitches loosening up, etc.).

Ok waylon. I dont know whatsup but that just kinda seemed like a "I cant let this guy get credit for something" post. He is just trying to let others know about the technique he uses for breaking in bags. You dont have to tell him that its been done before, im sure he knows that. Hes just spreading his knowledge.

I was replying back on quadgun's post. I didn't mean any ill intent.

Yeah, I can definitely see the "holier than thou" aspect in that post. I was slightly buzzed last night when I made that post. I'm all for this technique, and I sometimes use it to this day.

I would think so.

It's a 32 that needs breaking in with bleed holes, so go for it if you want to.

This is my all time best, tried and true, full beak-in technique:

1) If you don't smoke, pick-up smoking and do it a lot (say 40 cigarettes a day)
2) One night, fully quit smoking
3) Use unbroken-in bag as a stress-releaver, breaking it in with your fingers for most of your waking hours.
4) Your bag should be very plush and playable in a matter of days

* I have tested this with a very tight, sturdy Pierrot Bag and it works WONDERS
** Kids, don't really start smoking please ;)
